Camels in Australia
#artisticgoogle #googlestreetview #westernaustralia

Theme: Northern Territory & Western Australia

For +Artistic Google curated by +Jan McCartney +Rob Robinson +Patrick Sheeran and +Jamal Masood (me).

It looks odd to see camel statues in a country which is normally not associated with camels, but there is history behind these sculptures found near a roundabout in the town of Norseman, W. Australia. The town was established during the great gold rush of late nineteenth century and prior to advent of the railways, the entire region was served by camel trains. These sculptures made of corrugated tin is a tribute to those hardy animals.

+Jamal Masood same kind of problems they have with Rabbits, only rabbits are worse generally,  They even built a rabbit fence hundreds of miles long to try to contain them!  The balance is indeed delicate!

QR Coded Building
#googlestreetview #puzzle

Can you find it? If yes please visit Google Earth Community Forum  (http://goo.gl/gHDWi8) and post your answer there. Clues and answer will also be posted in the GEC Forum.

Google Earth Community's Fun & Games section is a fun place to post mystery placemarks and pose riddles about events and places from around the World. This forum provides a stimulus to brain and keeps it active specially for old retired people like me. I strongly recommend this for those who have time and penchant for solving puzzles, but a word of warning – it is highly addictive. Finding the answer is 90% perspiration (research) and 10% inspiration but it is pure 100% joy and sense of exhilaration.
