Memorial to a Highly Decorated Pilot
#googlestreetview #puzzle #worldwarii

Can you find in Google Street View this memorial, crash landing site and cemetery where a highly decorated pilot is buried. ? If yes, please visit Fun and Games section of Google Earth Community Forums (http://googleearthcommunity.proboards.com/thread/1697/memorial-highly-decorated-pilot) and post your answer there. Clues and answer will also be posted in that Forum.

Fun & Games section of Google Earth Community Forums is a fun place to post mystery locations and/or  pose riddles about events and places from around the World. This forum provides a stimulus to brain and keeps the grey cells active specially for old retired people like me. I strongly recommend this for those who have time and penchant for solving puzzles, but a word of warning – it is highly addictive. Finding the answer is 90% perspiration (research) and 10% inspiration but it is pure 100% joy and sense of exhilaration.
He was one of the most decorated pilots in the WW-II. This memorial is located in the town where his plane had crash landed. Marker at crash site The cemetery entrance where he is buried. GSV
