Why do we keep creating whitepapers, ebooks and guides that are the same for everyone? Aren’t we bored of this yet? Isn’t it about time we started thinking about the content we put out there? When you’re trying to generate leads for your business it’s all too easy to over-promise and under-deliver with your content. The temptation is to gate the content – once somebody completes a form, that lead goes straight to sales. More often than not marke...

Why content needs context.
We’re all becoming tired of ebooks and whitepapers and guides etc. It’s because we see so many of them, they are too salesy and generally bad (but, that’s another blog post).

After a year on android I've gone back to iOS. What? Why? I hear you cry.

Well android was good, great even, but the things I thought I would do I didn't. I thought I would customise, but I always went back to stock. I thought I would love widgets, but I never used them. I thought I'd love a bigger screen, but in reality I didn't like using two hands. I thought I could by with poorer quality hardware fit and finish, but hardware is more important to me than I thought. I thought I would use NFC and wireless charging, but I never did. I thought I wouldn't miss the apple App Store, but I kind of did.

I was bored of Apple, so I switched. Now I'm bored of android, so I've switched back. Thank god we have a choice. I'm sure I'll be tempted back in the future!

Create content with a BANG!
Home Run content mixes a Timely Issue, Empathy, Confidence and Emotion to create a seriously compelling piece. We need to think of these pieces as groundbreaking, fun, witty and off the wall.

Wow. What a great place. We didn't have time to eat in a sticks and sushi when we were in Copenhagen so I was pleased to have some time to visit this one in London. The food was really very good. The service was relaxed, but that was fine with us as we were enjoying it. It isn't cheap, but nor should it be for the excellent range of exciting sushi and sticks of meat and fish. Go here and enjoy.

The best hotel ever? Well not quite, but this hotel made myself and my wife feel very special. That's how a hotel should make you feel. When service is this good you never want to go home and all other hotels seem lukewarm. This is a gem of a place. The rooms are on the small side, or should be say bijou... Not that you'll spend much time in your room because it's in an amazing location right in the heart of Knightsbridge, so get your credit cards at the ready! When you get back from a day of shopping enjoy a delightful afternoon tea in the lounge. There is no restaurant, but the area is spoilt for choice. On your return from the hotel you have to visit the bar. The secret (or not so secret) pièce de résistance is Antonio. He's guaranteed to give you a great night serving up the best martinis in London in his own unique style. If you have any doubts about this place, don't. Just book a room!
