The University Club in St. Paul. Where do I start? The stately elegance of this Minnesota wedding venue makes it the perfect spot for a winter wedding in my opinion. Christine and Jeff started their new life together this winter at the grand club. This dashing couple was a dream to work with and I hope so much that they know how much I appreciated the chance to be part of their new beginning.

Autumn weddings in Minneapolis. Swoon. You really can't go wrong with choosing this time of year for your vows. Take a look at Beth & Dan's day and you'll see what I mean...

The opportunity to work with Shelby and Shane was easily one of the most refreshing and neat things I've had the chance to do as a wedding photographer. Why was that? Well, primarily because Shelby not only took interest in my photography, but also in me as a person. Her encouraging notes and comments and genuine interest in my life made the opportunity I had to be part of her and Shane's life leading up to their wedding and on their big day practically effortless. When clients give you their trust, nothing but magic can come about. Thank you Shelby and Shane. I appreciate you two so much and I hope you cherish your photographs for years to come.

Small, intimate weddings aren't for everyone, but I'm sure glad they ARE for some. Sara and James chose to wed at one the cutest restaurants in all of the Twin Cities -- Forepaugh's Restaurant in St. Paul -- surrounded by a few of their family and closest friends. The intimate charming wedding was another favorite from 2016. Just look at Sara's dress! Stunning. And James? Definitely one of the best dressed grooms I've had the pleasure of working with. Congratulations you two!

Sam and Stephanie value fine art photography and decided on engagement photographs in their current state of Georgia. While travel plans didn't pan out exactly as planned (thanks a lot Spirit for the 1 1/2 day non-weather related delay), we were still able to spend the afternoon and evening shooting in some of Georgia's stunning landscape, and, most importantly spending hours focused on Sam and Stephanie's affection for one another. Are you getting married in Georgia? I'd love to visit again!

Amy and Scott's elegant wedding at the Lafayette Club in Minnetonka, Minnesota was one of the highlights of July for me. The colors, the lake, the couple, the moments -- all were just a perfect, despite the record high temperatures of their summer wedding. One of the best parts of blogging is looking back and being able to see, feel, and experience a day all over again which is exactly what I'm after when I step into a couple's wedding story. Months, years, and even generations from now, I want my couples and their families to see, feel, and experience a little taste of the love that permeated that special day.

A few years ago I started shooting Polaroid and instant film just for fun, but now I consider it an integral piece of the Jaimee Morse wedding photography experience. In 2017 all wedding collections will include some type of instant film product for you to enjoy your day in a slightly different yet equally beautiful and elegant format. If you would like to learn more about Polaroid film wedding photography and how you can book your wedding with me, send me a note. I'd love to get to know you and all of your wedding dreams.

If you're getting married in Maine, you should probably consider one of the many beautiful barns throughout the state. This past summer Abi and Don got married in one such barn and it was such a delight to be part of their wedding. It was such a great taste of Maine wedding photography. As some of you know, our family will be moving back to New England in the coming months and I'm so excited to get to know all the wonderful couples from up and down the coastline as well as all of the couples coming to New England for their destination weddings. If you're looking for a Maine wedding photographer, and value a fine art approach to your day, then consider reaching out. I have a few dates left for 2017 and would love to be part of preserving your family's story. For now, click on over to the blog and enjoy this Maine barn wedding.
