Hi folks!

I was using MediaRecorder and MediaPlayer to record and playback audio and was following the example given in the guide. (https://developer.android.com/guide/topics/media/mediarecorder.html#example)

It is able to play the audio back, only once i stop recording (I presume this happens because in the background the audio is saved to a temporary file).

But I want it to playback simultaneously while recording (a small delay is fine). What should I do?

I'm familiar with desktop Java/Unix development, and there I would have used something like a pipe or a shared file descriptor for such a task.
But I am unable to find something similar on Android.

Thanks a lot!

Electricity and Magnetism are related, I've heard that before, but how? They are related by Maxwell's laws. Oh yeah they are, but are they two different forces that are dependent on each other by Maxwell's laws or are they the same force?

The force that I attribute to magnetic field due to flowing electrons (current) can be attributed to electric field by someone moving at a velocity relative to me. (Thanks to special relativity's length contraction)

Electric & Magnetic fields are the same, they just exhibit differently because of different frames of references!

Next time someone comes to you and says "I have a right to my opinion",  tell him that "I too have a right to my opinion, which is that you have no right to your opinion"

Encrypt text using onetimepad in your python script, or encrypt files from the shell.

But remember that it is Just a Hack, and it won't protect you from NSA. Well, it will, if you are nice enough to use a random key of atleast the same length as that of the plain-text message :D

Or even better, you can use GnuPG :P
