Affordable hotel. Quite central if you prefer Buda. Close to Apor Vilmos ter (bus station). The breakfast was worth it. The receptionists were all very helpful. The temp in the rooms was slightly hot and there is no way to change temperature however. Overall a great experience. Recommended.
Response from the owner - 11 months ago

Me and my husband had a wonderful time at the Jagello hotel, lovely and quiet area but close enough and just a 5 minute bus ride straight to the city centre. Hotel very clean and comfortable, kind friendly staff, good breakfast and all for great value for money! Bus stops right outside the hotel, a lovely park opposite the hotel, other side of the park a lovely shopping centre with everything you need. I would recommend this hotel for any kind of trip you have planned.

We have stayed there for one night - 2 adults and one kid. The room was clean and nice, same was the bathroom. It was quiet in the night. Breakfast was all you can eat - fresh bread, musli, eggs, vegetables, coffee and co. We are vegetarians and were happy with the menu. The owners of the hotel were relaxed and very friendly. They treat this Hotel like their home. I would stay there again.

We stayed there with small kid and we highly recommend it. It's nice, quiet, comfortable, clean hotel with very nice garden :) Very friendly and helpful staff. Working wifi everywhere (on top floor and in backyard/garden), good breakfast. There's big park nearby and shopping center too... Couple of very nice restaurants within walking distance.

Dear Goran, Thank you very much for your review. We are looking forward to welcoming you and your family again.

Very kind and helpful staff. Rooms clean and cozy, spacious enough. Wireless internet available. Located in nice, calm area of the city, right next to green areas and park. At the same time not far from the center (10min bus/20min walk). Truly enjoyed my stay in Jagello Hotel.

I was in Budapest for a very short stay and needed an inexpensive place to sleep which was comfortable and clean. I don't speak Hungarian, well, two words…(which I need to remind myself of just before a potential encounter…) so I was also looking for somewhere I could communicate in English. The Jagillo was perfect really. The reception staff were friendly and professional, talking in fluent English and enabling me to pay the very reasonable room rate in HUF or Euro. They do not offer dinner or lunch in the hotel, but pointed me to a nearby shopping centre which boasts a wide range of good value, quality dining options from Italian to Japanese. The room was clean and larger than I had imagined. There was plenty of light, everything seemed in very good condition and the bathroom was great: no cracked tiles or mouldy walls. I had a flat screen TV with international news channels (although not much else in English) but there were French, and Italian language channels as well as an international music channel. The beds (I had two single beds) were small but perfectly comfortable. I slept very well, although I did have two pillows, one of with would be very soft for some people. Breakfast was free. I didn't eat much and was disappointed that there was only pineapple juice (I hate the stuff) but I didn't ask for orange juice, which they might well have been able to provide. There was a spread of breads, serials (including chocolatey stuff) and yoghurts as well as something hot, (but I didn't look to see what). It was hardly inspiring but perfectly acceptable and my coffee was better than I have come to expect from most places. I used the hotel safe at reception, (was given a key to a box inside the safe) which was fine. (I don't like taking my passport and credit cards out and about in cities that I don't know, although I saw no reason to fear a mugging in Budapest). I left my bags at reception on the day I left and they offered to order me a cab for my return to the airport. So all and all an excellent stay. Nothing to criticise. Will be staying again next time I visit my dentist.

Very helpful personnel, good location (if one knows the city), clean facilities, available parking, adequate breakfast, functioning wireless in room, good restaurants and shopping in the vicinity, easy and nearby public transportation - all around excellent value for money.
