Top Traits of Best Executive Resume Writers (Updated 2019)

“A professional executive resume writer writes full-time + daily. Her words elicit a visceral reader response.”

What makes an executive resume writer one of the best?

Best Executive Resume Writing Services …

1. Write resumes full-time and are owned by a ‘writer.’
2. Are scientific in their approach.
3. Are not solely focused on keywords + executive resume length + do not cater their writing (just) to recruiter preferences.
4. Serve as your marketing agent.
5. Value learning.
6. Eschew the idea of resume ‘refreshes and updates,’ when what you really need is a newly transformed career positioning document.
7. Guide executive careerists through ‘grinding’ processes that focus on executive image consulting + personal branding.
8. Are clear about their ideal clients.
9. Have worked deeply with executives, in job search and in a corporate work place setting.
10. Partner with and edify their intellectual capital in collaboration with recruiters.
11. Specialize in writing for executives at the VP and C-level.
12. Focus in on executive resume writing strategy + career storytelling to ensure you have a refined executive personal brand.
13. Surprise you.

Great idea! via +ANDY FOOTE
Happy to participate, elevating colleagues' content.

Problem: LinkedIn cuts your content off at the knees
Solution: Collective Action Treaty (CAT) / Content Boosting

Here's how it would work: everyone who wishes to participate (signs their name below in comments) agrees to 'boost' CAT content of all of the folks who sign up, by either liking, sharing or commenting.

I propose that CAT is initially limited to the first 50 people who sign up. CAT members connect with each other and then send the content they wish to be boosted via LinkedIn messenger to the other CAT members. Just send the link, no need to say anything else, CAT members will know what to do. CAT members will respond to message with 'L' 'S' 'C' to indicate the action they have taken.

Imagine how well your content will perform with 50 people working together to help it :)

Who's in?

Who's ready to try this fun little experiment?

Please tag people you'd love to boost/experiment with...

My LinkedIn tip for the day: profile pictures can be taken anywhere, but please don't look like it was in a police lineup.
