You know that feeling that you get when you look deep into your spouses eyes?

Its that moment that ‘stops time’, that beautiful revelation of the depth of reality of how much you love and care for their heart and the overwhelming love that covers your entire soul. If you’re in love, then you know the moment that I’m talking about, Jesus wants to be included in that moment and every moment that you share with your spouse. When I look at my husband Paul, I see a living, breathing, eternal soul whom Jesus created out of His love for me, a beautiful man whom I pledge to love and care for daily by laying down my entire life and soul for him. I see the very breath of God in my faithful, selfless husband, I see my life in abundance in him, I see the meaning of love manifested right before my very eyes. I see Gods passion and love in my husbands eyes, I see Gods power and glory manifested everyday, in every moment that I am with my husband. My Creator uses the love of my husband to transform me into the pure heart, the woman, and wife that Jesus created me to be from the beginning. I love my husband and my God with all my heart.

My heart is my husbands home, in the same way that my heart is God Almighty's home. When you look into my eyes, you're seeing my husband and Jesus, because they live here. My love for Jesus and for my husband is who I am. My Creator, THE holy spirit Himself who lives within me, is my lifeline that empowers me to love my husband the way that Jesus intended for all spouses to love one another, by submitting to Jesus' heart in all things, submitting to my husband in the Lord and serving all people with His heart. Jesus has taught me that HE is my refining fire, and Paul is also part of my refining fire. Jesus sanctifies me (this body, mind/spirit/soul, house) daily.

(2 Chronicles 7:14-16)
"If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. Now mine eyes shall be open, and mine ears attent unto the prayer that is made in this place. For now have I chosen and sanctified this house, that my name may be there for ever: and mine eyes and mine heart shall be there perpetually.

Jesus has taught me that it's important for spouses to make time for one another daily, make it a habit to do something together everyday when you're able, like having coffee together or taking time to talk in the mornings before both of your busy day starts. Having time alone with my husband early mornings before he leaves for work helps us both to get through our day, it's important to both of us, just as having my alone time with Jesus (and through out the day, hes with me constantly) helps me to get filled for the day to serve my husband, children and others.

The way a heart loves and serves their spouse is a HUGE part of their sacrifice, praise and worship unto God. If people are neglecting their role as husband/wife by neglecting their spouses hearts then they are neglecting Gods heart, and Jesus does not accept their sacrifice, this is truth. Become a holy, living sacrifice by submitting your will unto Gods will, and submitting your heart/mind/soul unto serving your spouse in the way of JESUS/selfless love.

Romans 12:1
I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.

Psalm 50:14
Offer unto God thanksgiving; and pay thy vows unto the most High

Colossians 3: 22-24 Servants, obey in all things your masters according to the flesh; not with eyeservice, as menpleasers; but in singleness of heart, fearing God: And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men; Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ.
