This is Northern Ireland. Check out the blue sky. Did we luck out with the weather or what? #FB #gplus

Tomorrow I'm going to lose my adventure buddy. Jack's going to be in SF for the next week. Me: all alone with a rental car while the 🚐 in the shop getting new engine mounts. I can either stay in rainy Vancouver and do work or head to beautiful, sunny, wine region of Okanagan Valley. I think I'm gonna go with the 🍷and the ☀️ #FB #gplus

A welcoming sight after the steep approach to the Bugaboos. It was less than 3 miles long but I felt like I'd been hiking uphill forever! On this visit to the Bugs, we splurged for a space in the Conrad Kain hut. With a fully stocked kitchen, heated space, running water... It was sooooo worth it! #FB #ma #gplus

(Not so) alpine start to climb Pingora (right most peak) in the Cirque. --------- The Cirque of Towers is a place of granite peaks, expansive meadows, and meandering rivers and lakes. It's justly popular with backpackers and climbers alike. To the point that, as a local once said, it's been loved to death: Trampled meadows and contaminated water. What can we do more to reduce our impacts on beautiful places like these? #FB #ma #gplus

We totally underestimated the end of winter here in Colorado. We had to learn quickly to love spring hiking (read: muddy) and the psychotic weather. As someone somewhere said, there's no such thing as bad weather, only bad gear. #FB #Gplus

Can you believe that it's been 4 months since we made that van our home and started driving? Ever since then every day is choose-your-adventure day. We made new friends and met old ones. We made temporary home in Bishop and Joshua Tree (CA), Sedona (AZ), Moab (UT), and now Boulder (CO) - chasing sunshine, new peaks, and adventures along the way. It's been a privilege. Thanks for coming along. #FB #Gplus

On our way from Utah to Denver, we stopped by 2 national parks in Colorado I'd never been to before. Today I learned that not only is there a giant sand dune in Colorado, it's also surrounded by snow capped mountains and streams. It's quite a surreal place. #gplus
