Promo Codes: Mini Pivot
When Promo Codes first launched it was marketed as a way for users to get a chance of winning free, high quality apps with little to no effort.
It's become obvious over the first week of launching, that this isn't a long-term viable strategy for the future of the app. The sheer number of users that are downloading the app expecting to win a free app almost every day was just overwhelming, and the number of 1* ratings being received because of this, if allowed to continue, would certainly have meant the app was destined to fail.
Instead, I'm now marketing Promo Codes a little differently:Promo Codes is a service built for supporting developers, finding high-quality apps you may not have found otherwise, and having a very small chance to win great apps.
Promo Codes has a relatively small, but high-quality user-base underneath it's sea of demanding, 1* voting users, and I hope with this change i can grow this section of it's userbase to create a great tool for spending users and great developers.Devs:
If you'd like to help me achieve my goal, donating some codes for your apps would go along way - Initial analytics from this week also suggests you're going to see noticeable downloads/install bump too.Users:
If you'd like to help me achieve my goal, download the app, use it for a few days and hopefully find something useful, and worth buying!https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.underwood.promo
