"I already had a beard, so this was very convenient." -Tim Burr

Cracking up over  #beardswipe . It's by far the best way to open your iPhone... if you have a beard.

I don't really understand stuff like this. There's no way to manually apply reward points to a member's account?

I got a great discount on the wetsuit and I hear nothing but great things about Xterra, so it's not the biggest deal. Just confused about the lack of (what seems like simple) usability of their CRM.

Any tech friends want to hack a few rewards points into my account?

I was excited to read this post, but the "share" icons on the left hand side are blocking the first two words of every line. Sure, I'm reading on a 1992 square monitor, but come on! Now I'll never know how to roast coffee at home (probably not true, but I've given up reading this post).

14 days after roasting, coffee beans have lost over 80% of the aromatic volatile compounds which give it its complex flavor have evaporated, and even $100/lb coffee is no longer ‘specialty coffee’ quality. The answer is buying them green and roasting your own coffee beans. You roast what you need and drink it fresh. And it’s cheap to get started, with no learning curve. Even on a hurried morning, I can wake up with no roasted coffee and still roa...

He's getting some flack, but I think this is hilarious.

And I had no idea that keeping valve caps on is uncool. Way to be a noob, Jack.

Not new, but worth a read. UI vs UX explained very well by +Webdesigner Depot.
UI is the saddle, the stirrups, and the reigns. UX is the feeling you get being able to ride the horse, and rope your cattle. At least that's what they used t

For me, the most interesting thing here is associations made for a [brand + location] search in Google+ Local. The idea of "Knowledge Graph Optimization" or even "Entity Optimization" can be huge for large and small brands alike.

Thanks +AJ Kohn!

Proud to call Roll my local bike shop. Knowledgeable guys, friendly, always willing to share mechanical tips (although I should probably apologize for having my nose in every adjustment… “What’s that? Why are you doing that? Where does that go? How does this work?”). I ordered a Nature Boy Disc through Roll that wasn’t in stock and it came faster than I thought possible – Scot even came in early the next day to assemble the bike. Eric and Scot both walked me through a disc brake 101 session because I am, admittedly, clueless and they let me know that Roll offers free disc adjustments for the life of the bike. Right on! Stop by with any questions or issues with your ride and they’ll be happy to help. And when you’ve decided to abide by Rule #12 (citing the correct number of bikes to own as n+1 where n is the number of bikes currently owned), Roll is the place to go.
