Seems hard to believe today, but in Victorian times folks used to bathe in the River Thames!

The deliciously sinister Puma Court is typical of the narrow, dark alleyways that snaked their ways through the districts of Whitechapel and Spitalfields at the time of the Jack the Ripper murders.

Absolutely fascinating tour led by a true expert. Informative, exciting, horrifying and entertaining - everything I wanted from a London Tour like this! Our tour guide Richard was extremely welcoming and passionate about the subject and was somehow able to make me feel as though I had been transported back to the eerie streets of 19th century London!

As a night out in London with a few friends I think this ranks as one not to be missed. Really atmospheric and the guide was a great story-teller. Some moments on the tour were really quite evocative and a little disturbing - but it was fascinating to get behind the story we all know and find out what it was really like on the streets. Best taken on a cold Autumn evening for the full effect I think!

Loved this tour, excellent value for money, walks at a good pace, very entertaining and our guide, John, was fantastic. Photographs used come with a warning, suitable for those 14+, takes around two hours and visits all key locations in the investigation of Jack the Ripper.

This was without a doubt a great tour. Lindsay was our guide and she was beyond superb! She even took the time to talk with me for a few minutes after the tour. I have been interested in the case since I was first told about it some 20 years ago. I learned a ton of new information. I recommend this tour to anyone who either wants to learn more about the case or does not know anything at all.

Hi Santiago Thanks for reviewing the tour. I'm really pleased you enjoyed it and that you got to talk about the subject with Lindsay. Best wishes for 2016. Hope to see you again.

Me and my partner took this tour last week as she loves murder mysteries and I am fascinated by Victorian London. So it seemed like a fun compromise, and we weren't disappointed! The guide was very knowledgeable while at the same time hugely entertaining. The experience of walking in the very places visited by Jack the Ripper was somewhat eerie at times, especially in the locations that have hardly changed since 1888. We found the length of the tour just right, neither too long nor too short. I would certainly recommend this to anyone else who visits the capital and is interested in murder mysteries, history or even just to hear a chilling story told exceedingly well.

On our recent visit to London we took this tour since it had been recommended to us. It was a truly memorable evening which brought the story to life on the actual streets where the Ripper walked. We discovered sites where the murders happened, had a fascinating insight into life on the streets in 1880's London and then a very credible case was put for the true identity of Jack the Ripper. It's an experience that will live in our memory for years to come.
