Service and food is excellent. The burgers are juicy, flavorful and delicious. No one comes close to beating their prices downtown either! I wish all the locally owned restaurants in San Antonio were more like this.
Chicago dogs are awesome and they make 'em the right way here. You can tell the huge taste difference between Vienna all beef hot dogs at Jerry's and the vendor's 'what-is-in-this' hot dogs down the street. I'll keep going to Jerry's as long as I'm in San Antonio.
The food is decent. At first, they weren't consistent, but it's gotten a lot better. I've also learned to stick to rudimentary items such as their a la carte taco menu and their nachos. The food and beer is priced very well for downtown.
I stood around waiting for a while and no one ever greeted me, so I left. The restaurant was full and it seemed like they only had two waiters. I guess I'll have to try again and update later. Edit: I tried going again recently and their hours say "Friday & Saturday Till 11pm Bar open till later..." This was not the case. I went at 11pm to go to the bar on a Friday and it too was closed. I'm done. Never going back.
