Pouring Molten Salt into Water

Table salt (sodium chloride) enters its liquid state at temperatures above 1,400°F. When a crucible of molten salt is poured into a tank of water, it causes an explosion of steam and water. It is thought that the Leidenfrost Effect is partially responsible for the first few moments of this violent physical reaction as the molten salt rapidly boils water in its immediate vicinity to form a sheath of steam. However, the immense heat quickly overcomes this barrier and rapidly expands outwards causing a stream explosion.

In honor of this weekend's game, I thought I'd have a little fun with this post. Do you know where some of your favorite Panthers live? I do :-) http://ow.ly/XXpJC
The Panthers gotta live somewhere! Let's look at where all your favorite players live and are rumored to live around CLT.

It's worth it, even if only for the subscription to Google Play Music, which I already have and highly recommend.

I'm really picky about doctors and their staff. My wife and I often joke about many of them being "wet rags". I need smarts and personality, which is a hard find. These ladies were witty, intelligent and personality to boot! High touch and high intelligence is a sale for me. The ambience is very comfortable, nice couches with a Keurig for coffee and tea and they have cheerwine in the fridge with other sodas as well. If you have kids they have a section for them as well with a tv. The office area is very clean as well as the rooms. As a side note, I'm willing to bet the other one star reviewers below have problems anywhere they go, b/c if they had problems with these four awesome ladies, they will hate anywhere.

If you're a dark beer fan you have to try the porter and red beers here! The light beers aren't my favorite, but I'm not a light beer fan. The IPA is on par with what you'd expect from an IPA, nice hint on the back end. They also have a grit based beer. For those in Charlotte and surrounding areas this place is worth the hike. Walk a few blocks over get some of their pizza as well at The Salty Caper to round off the experience. This is the touch that Salisbury needed. If you remember Concord in the 80's and liked it, you'll enjoy the Salisbury area as well.

Like an upscale chick-fil-a. Staff is awesome, very clean inside and the food is great of course (get a milkshake...they're awesome).

One of the best burgers you can get in north Charlotte. Trivia is fun on the weekends. Don't go here on the weekends for a romantic night out, it's just too loud. Great place to watch sports and have fun with the locals. Beers on tap are good and wine galore is a cross the parking lot at 201 Eastfield.

Always pretty quick to get you in, can be a wait on the weekends. Staff is polite and the ambience is the typical sports tradition with TV's all over.

Great pizza, staff is nice, great little bar area for hanging out with a few friends. Downside is that it can get very busy on the weekends and wait times will be high.
