Excellent Indoor Waterpark and Resort. This place is a dream for kids and big kids as well. Just about every ride on site is fun and worth going on over and over. We were able to go when not so many kids were out of school yet, so barely any lines to get on. The hotel staff was great, from the Front Desk to the arcade assistants to even the waiting staff at the restaurant. Aquatopia's staff was fun to talk to and mostly all smiles and interactive, especially Emily who operated some of the slides and Amanda who was at the Colonial Commons concession stands. They added bright smiles to my stay. The flowrider is definitely worth trying out. The wave pool is not deep and still great to relax in. The warm springs pool was a delight to be in. The only reason I gave this place 4 instead of 5 stars was because even though they advertised this place as you are able to get two parks instead of 1, I only got admission to the indoor park since the outdoor park only operated on weekends, not weekdays. I still wish I had a return voucher(s) for the outdoor park.

I have been here twice. Both visits left me with OK results. My first visit ever I ordered the lunch special... Two slices of cheese pizza with a can of soda for $6.00. The pizza was ok. Nothing special. I've had better elsewhere. It was not aweful, just nothing to say, "Oh hey you better check out their pizza." I came back a week later and got 2 sicilian slices and brought them back to the office. These were better than the regular cheese slices, but they seem to be missing something overall. I ended my meal with that look on my face, like I wish I had something better. Overall, it's an OK place to eat regular cheese and sicilian slices. I have yet to try the others in the area, but it will be awhile before I try pizza again.

Had my first every experience of eating Teriyaki chicken breast at Glaze... and it was great. I was sitting at my office wondering what to eat. I was not in the mood for the usual and thought about what I haven't eaten in awhile. Teriyaki dishes came to mind. I get on Google, do a search near my address and lo and behold I find one 1 block away. The reviews are great so I headed up to try it myself. The venue is small. Sits maybe around 12-15 people in total. Some of the counters are old style and antique looking. Not expensive antique just old but still nice overall. I walk to stand in line behind only 1 person that is ordering. I read the menu above and decide what to get. The menu selection is pretty simple... Teriyaki dishes served with your different choice of meats or vegeterian options. They also have a few side dishes from steamed endamame to crispy gyoza dumplings and a few more. If you really have an appetite you can also choose to double your meat (or veggies) or get a combo, which includes salad with 3 options for dressing on the side, white or brown rice, and if you want the teriyaki sauce hot, spicy or regular. I went along with Combo #2. This includes the teriyaki entree with salad and one side. I chose the crispy gyoza dumplings (veggie). The order was ready in about 5-6 minutes after I ordered it, which made me widen my eyes at how quick they prepared it. I took my meal and walked back to the office. Sat down, opened up the containers and took the aroma. It did smell great. I decided to try the dumplings first. Very Very awesome. Had them plain and with soy sauce and loved them either way. Then I went in on the salad after pouring my carrot ginger dressing over it. Very good. If you had salad with ginger dressing before, this won't be new, but still complimented the meal very well overall. Then I went in on the chicken and rice and liked it very much. The sauce is a bit strong in taste, but if your mouth is savoring that kind of dish, then you will appreciate it. Overall, I was content with the meal and knowing they are only 1 block away walking distance, I will go back more often and try their other dishes like pork loins or seasoned tofu. Check it out if you are in the vicinity. It's really good if you love teriyaki dishes.

Fantastic Steakhouse in Midtown East. A colleague of mine visited me and he took me out to lunch. I suggested this place, since I have not been to a Steakhouse in awhile. Called ahead and put in a reservation for lunch (just in case) and walked over. The interior is very nice. There's a bar upon entering the establishment on the left and the main dining room next to it in the back. We were sat down and nicely accommodated. While we chatted, we waited on someone to come and take our order. After about 8 minutes, our drinks order was taken and bread options were placed on the table along with a spread for them. They were awesome. Either I was very hungry or they know how to pick out the best breat and breadsticks to nibble on before your meal. I saw a special on the wall and asked about it. It's called the Tomahawk Ribeye. It's about 2.5 pounds of ribeye steak with a side. Great for sharing with someone else. But I was greedy and ordered it for myself. I chose mashed potatoes as the side and added broccoli to compliment the meal. After about 15 minutes, the meal came out. I was shocked. The steak is HUGE. But I was hungry and started on it. The steak was so soft and moist and worth every bite. The mashed potatoes they offer were delicious ,as well as the gravy that came with it. The broccoli was steamed and a nice add-on as well. After about 30 minutes, I gave in. I took the rest of my steak and broccoli to take home. At home it was also great and enjoyed the taste even more. The place lost 1 star only based that it was lunchtime and it took awhile to get our orders in and have the meal served as well, but in the end I would understand considering I ordered a huge steak and wanted it cooked medium well. The food is top notch. If you are in Midtown East, just stop here and enjoy a winning ribeye.
