I have an interesting Amazon case today where a buyer filed an a-z guarantee claim against my client (seller) claiming that he never received the item when the tracking ID with USPS shows "Delivered". My client represented his side of the case and won.

The buyer had his item shipped to a freight forwarder. Amazon won't offer a guarantee or offer buyer protection when freight forwarder is used for the shipment of the item.

Read "About Freight Forwarders and Hand Carry in the Amazon help page:

"Amazon won't be responsible for damage, defect, material difference, or loss that occurs to goods after they're delivered to you or a freight forwarder. This means that Amazon isn't able to provide a replacement of, or refund for, any such goods delivered to you or a freight forwarder. You should refuse goods that arrive damaged and instruct freight forwarders to do the same, and goods lost after being received by you or the freight forwarder will be your responsibility." How to price match during Amazon Prime Day

- Read store policies, which outline how to request a match both in-store and online.
- Timing matters. The price usually has to be valid at the time of match and the item has to be in-stock by the competitor.
- It has to be an identical item, brand name, size and model number.
- Third-party sellers are excluded.
- Beware of other exclusions. Target, for instance, notes competitor doorbusters and lightning sales, including Amazon - Prime Exclusive offers, are excluded.
- When in doubt, ask to speak to a store manager.

"Amazon Prime Day starts on July 16. "Prime Day is a one-day only global shopping event exclusively for Prime members.". Prime Shoppers will find great deals and steep discounts on this day. For sellers, this is an opportunity to stock up on fast moving items and a great way to get rid of the high-priced products that are sitting in the warehouse for long."

"Take the guesswork out of product pricing with the Net Proceeds widget
Jul 9, 2018

Estimating fees is a key factor when you’re deciding how to price your products. The new Net Proceeds widget estimates your transactional fees so you get a better idea of expected charges - referral fees, closing fees, per item fees, FBA fees, referral fee discounts, and taxes." #amazon #amazonsellercentral

What are Amazon Stores?

"Keep your Late Shipment Rate low by confirming shipments

One of the main reasons sellers have a high Late Shipment Rate is that they’re slow to confirm their shipment, even though they’ve shipped on time. Confirm your shipment on the same day that it’s sent out so your buyers see their order details are updated. If you’re not getting enough time to prepare your products, ship them, and send confirmation, you can adjust the handling time for your inventory." #amazonsellercentral #amazon

Supreme Court Rules on Sales Tax Collection
https://vproph.com/blog/supreme-court-rules-on-sales-tax-collection/

"You may have already heard that the Supreme Court overturned the Quill ruling that had restricted state sales tax collection. Quill had ruled that states can only require sales tax collection from businesses with a physical presence in their state. Last week’s decision on South Dakota v. Wayfair Inc. overturned this and now allows states to require any internet retailers to collect and remit sales tax, even if they do not have a physical presence in the state. The court did not decide whether states may seek sales tax retroactively."
