All experts agree: children learn by playing and toys are the instruments that allow them to discover the world they live in. And this is precisely why they interact with their surroundings through toys. Plus toys give them plenty of enjoyment and happiness, both of which help build self esteem.
Children of Jr. KG Rose and Sunflower visited The Shreyas Toys Museum, located at Shreyas Foundation, Manekbaug area on Friday 03/08/2018 during school hours. They saw wonderful puppets, skeleton of an elephant, different utensils, musical instruments used by various states, and countries etc.
The children were accompanied by teachers and maids. Children made a Thank You card and gifted to Ms. Shamaa Bhatt, thanking her to take them all around the museum.
It was a fun filled trip and children were thrilled to see so many different kinds of sculptures and toys.

They may also be used for various other uses such as rescues from situations other than fires. They saw that a typical Fire Truck will carry tools for a wide range of firefighting and rescue tasks, with common equipment including ladders, hoses, a self-contained breathing apparatus, ventilating equipment, first aid kits etc.
Children understood this vehicle and is purpose better through this visit. They also gave a Thank You card to the authorities, that was prepared by a Sr.KG child.

“Be a Hero. Always say, I have no fear”.
This famous quote by Swami Vivekananda inspired Grade IV Diamond to showcase the class presentation on “FEAR”. We all are born with fear or acquire fear with some unfortunate experiences. Students of class IV displayed an insight of fear that we have in common and how effortlessly we can eradicate it from our lives.
Fear is a natural response in all of us. It keeps us safe. We all have few common fears that startle our mind for instance stage fright, lack in confidence, spot light, people’s comments on our actions, unpreparedness and many more… Thus the body prepares itself to response in a state of fight or flight mode until our brain receives all clear message. When we confront fear, we come across various responses. FEAR IS LEARNED. FEAR CAN BE UNLEARNED AND IF NOT THEN THIS WILL LEAD TO PHOBIA. A phobia is actually a fear of fear and it is curable.
What good are wings without the courage to fly. Students portrayed a great understanding of what fear is, it’s various types and different strategies to face fear through a fabulous performance onstage.
