Another Restaurant Review of our Trip in Bend. You know when I write a review is because I'm excited with my experience!

I wish Wild Rose Thai was closer to #PDX, but I'll return to #Bend soon!

2014 Update: (I haven't worked with Chef Seng for since last year 2013 and I still went for my weekly Laotian goodness fix!) This is the restaurant I miss the most from the DC area, I went three times the last week I was in DC. ---- I like Thai Food and this place does great with Curries, all desserts, and noodle dishes. I recommend ask for Laotian Menu and try their Nam Khao (Crispy Rice Salad), Green Mango Salad, Curry Puffs, any of their Larbs, Orms, wings. NOTE: I started working with the Chef of this restaurant a couple of months ago but I was already a weekly client, that's how we became friends and I started working with her. I trust the Chef's talent so much I can give you my word you won't be disappointed, and if you are feel free to contact me and let us know how we can offer a better experience. Peace.

This franchise's location offered a great customer experience. Our waitress was very helpful and suggested I ordered the eggplant parmeggiana to share with J (vegetarian), he tried the margherita pizza. Both, the pizza and the pasta dish were good. I can't say that it blew my away, but they were not blend. The place has a Friday's kind of vibe, sans the loudness. I'd go again to meet with friends, or try for delivery, but I wouldn't go out of my way to dine there again solely based on the food experience.

Make sure to get there around 11:20 am so you can get in line and sit right when they open at 11:30! Husband loved the vegetarian Curry with Tofu and the coconut rice is also so delicious. The wings are the most savory wings I've ever had, the papaya salad and the Khao Muu Daeng as well. I'm not a big fan of their desserts, I do usually love Thai/Laotian desserts but if I had to eat it again I'd go with the affogato (strong coffee on small bowl with a ball of coconut ice cream and 2 crispy Thai fried donuts).

Lemon-Vanilla Pie and the Apple Brandy are so frigging delicious. Neat place, easy to park and free wifi. Can't wait to try their biscuits and empanadas.

On a Saturday I do recommend arriving before the place opens, there was a line around the corner and I was lucky to get in the first round. The vegetable appetizer is unbelievable delicious. I highly recommend it. Customer was very friendly. The pizza was the best I've had so far around Portland, but I wish the dough was a touch wetter (from what I'm used to from DC's 2Amys and Pupatella). The Mushrooms + Greens pizza was a bit on the dry side for me. J liked the flavor of his NY Pizza but he was hoping for more cheese and no oregano since it takes completely over the flavors of the pizza. The dessert was subtle but delicious, the cream, the lemon pie and the huckleberries, the pic doesn't show as if it was amazing, but indeed it was. Great options and fresh ingredients. I'd go again there for pizza in a whim!

I stayed on the #342 and the view was fantastic. We (husband & I) went for two nights and then decided to stay 2 more nights around Newport. I'd stay again and might also try their resort around Cannon Beach. Pros - The view - Friendly Staff - Location - Clean restroom and room (neat furniture / curtains, etc) - Parking - The coffee & taffy at the reception area (complimentary and tasty!) - Close to everything to eat around (Georgie's was good, but there are other great places around too). Cons - Lobby area was dirty throughout all the days we stayed there (mostly the coffee tables, the were several cups of coffee left around for days) - The balcony could have been cleaner along with the glass door (it wasn't gross or anything but it wasn't pristine clean) - The door needs a screen so one can keep the door open and prevent bugs coming to the room and still enjoy the outdoors fresh air. - Though the staff was very friendly, I was never given much information, for example about the amenities (I had to ask if there was a gym, a business center). I just found out they have a board game library and the staff never mentioned it. I think it would make this place an amazing unforgettable destination if this customer experience was added along with my other suggestions.

The brunch was fantastic. The customer service was really friendly and though we had to wait around 20 minutes it was worth the wait. Mango-Orange Mimosa Veg Omelet Strawberry Creme Crepes Eggs Benedict Buttermilk Pancakes Croissant Stuffed French Toast and more... I wrote a full review (with pics) on my experience but I can't share in here or I'll be flagged lol.
