Wait. The brand new game that just came out today already has a 1.8 gig update? And I can't play my new game till it is download and installed?

That means you sold me an incomplete game.

Just how big is the middle class in America? That depends on how you define it. But if you ask Americans how they view themselves, the middle class seems pretty damn big. In fact, in a recent poll almost nine out of 10 Americans called themselves some version of "middle class." ...

Very well articulated review of the awesome show Daredevil on Netflix by my handsome husband.

Daredevil

To be honest, I had no intention of watching this show after Mark Steven Johnson and Ben Affleck dragged this character through the mud in the 2003 adaptation of the character. I can honestly say that I'm glad I did not allow that experience to keep me from seeing one of the best television shows ever. For those who have not watched it, I will avoid revealing any major plot developments.

I was never a comic book fan. As a kid I tried to get into them like all of my friends, but my preference has always been for novels. That being said, this recent adaptation of Daredevil has prompted me to want to give comics another shot; this show is so well written, directed, cast, and executed, that we watched the entire series and am left feeling like I need more.

One of the things that I like about this show is that it plays out more like a procedural drama, with the occasional superhero thrown in. A superhero, by the way, who is a seriously flawed human being; one in which the writers and cast had the temerity not to keep from the audience. We get to see Matthew Murdock bleed, make mistakes, and not walk away from a fight unscathed – an unrealistic luxury afforded to many of today's heroes, many of whom are too often next to godly.

The writers have also done an amazing job at keeping the themes socially relevant, and fairly accurate. Many of the topics include socioeconomic disparity, corruption, even the war on science and fact was given it's due. Several people have compared Daredevil to the The Flash – the first six episodes of which, despite my cringing and wincing, I struggled to get through. One of the things that the writers of Daredevil were able to do, in my opinion, that The Flash could not was carefully craft stories with social commentary that arose naturally and subtly as a consequence of each player's actions. In other words, I didn't get whacked in the face with contrivances as   The Flash had done. The social commentary in Daredevil flows naturally and, for me, made the characters, their motivations, and the story as a whole more accessible and relatable.

In addition to character motivation and development, the show was just a pleasure to watch. The cinematographers and directors showed off their skills with comic-book panel framing, long take's that Hitchcock would have been proud of, and zero-point perspective that would make Kubrick weep.

For anyone who has not yet seen the show, whether or not you're a comic-book superhero fan, to sum it up, it's badass. Perhaps my only regret, one that I think many who have watched it may share, is that I love it so much that I really don't want to wait for a second season.

Let us bring you yet another cautionary tale of a deceptively sweet and bubbly menace to our nation. We speak, of course, of Candy Crush. A 29-year-old man actually ruptured a tendon after weeks of torturing his thumb in pursuit candy matches. We kid you not.

“Love isn’t a state of perfect caring. It is an active noun like “struggle.” To love someone is to strive to accept that person exactly the way he or she is, right here and now – and to go on caring even through times that may bring us pain.” – Fred Rogers

Great service, amazing food. Make sure to try the lemonade! Their weekend beef birria is amazing. You must also try their asada quesadilla. I have loved every dish I have ordered here.

Excellent quality sushi! Fresh, and skillfully prepared sushi and sashimi. Try the heart attack roll (pictured above) and the crab salad. You will be amazed.

I am not a religious man. I have been very welcome to the community events at this church though. Great example of preaching AND practicing the open armed welcome.

So very few mexican places delivery. Fewer still are good enough to bother ordering from. I was very glad to order from Tortas Mexico and discover good all-fashioned mexican food. We are talking tortas, nachos, and taquitos, that taste freshly made (even while delivered). The service is excellent, both over the phone and when picking up. I have only experienced one error, and here again their customer service made all the different. They apologized and fixed it quickly.

Clean shop, excellent haircuts. David cuts my hair, and i have not a single complaint. He either does exactly what i ask for, or does great when i say "do something different". Have not been disappointed. Give them a call to ask for an appointment, they get busy, especially during lunch hours.

My favorite sit-down mexican restaurant in the city. Service is always awesome, and the food is excellent. I mean it tastes like my grandma made it, specially that delicious albondiga soup. They easily accommodate large groups, just give them a call ahead so they can be ready for you. Even when i have forgotten to call ahead, the wait is minimal. Check out the show if they have one the night you are going. They have a black box theatre downstairs, and i have seen some great comedy shows there.
