Retired burlesque performer in 2013 after five and a half years treading the boards, now a burlesque blogger - reviewing, interviewing and giving help and advice.
I started performing burlesque in May 2008, my first gig was at Red Rocks in Birmingham and I never looked back. In my five years performing burlesque I had the pleasure to tread the boards at some of the UKs most prestigious burlesque events; The Missy Malone & Friends Burlesque Review, Kinky & Quirky, The Wet Spot, and Burlesque! at The Lowry Theatre to name but a few.
I also set up The North West Burlesque Society and run that with three of my burly pals. We meet up once every two months running workshops with headline performers and invite them to speak at our meetings, all are welcome; performers, producers and lovers of burlesque.
In addition I have modelled for Donovan’s Darlings, Stuart Rayner, Bethany Jane Davies, and Neil Kendall.
In 2013 I decided to hang up my tassels and pack up my tit tape to focus more on other aspects of my life, mainly writing; sewing and blogging.
I still organise the NWBS and I am still involved in the burlesque scene, regularly attending and reviewing shows, books, films and all things associated to burlesque. I’m lucky enough to call some fantastic performers my friends and from time to time you’ll see an interview on here from some of burlesque’s brightest stars.
