OK - I think I turned the video off in Hangout. This was the feature I was most excited about and now I'm not sure...

I know!!! I'm having mixed feelings about it, too. Of course, the people ( family members) I most want to talk to haven't been able to use their invites yet, either.

Thanks to +Becky McCray for sharing this simple way of pricing your offer!
I'm thinking about all the different approaches to pricing services. Here's my list so far:

1. What you need to earn.
Divide up expenses by amount of time you can sell.

2. What others charge.
Either local market or online markets.

3. What you're worth.
A premium for your knowledge or expertise or reputation.

4. Go up regularly.
If you're booked up or booking regularly, go up.

5. What it's worth to them.
Figure out how much revenue or cost savings your service produces for your client. Charge a portion of that, no matter how quick you can do it.

I'm fascinated by all the different ways people approach setting their prices.

Marketing is about who you are -- not what you do
I'm in the business of having your ideal customer choose you every time regardless of price.  Some like to call it Marketing - but it's often so much more than that.  More like Marketing Therapy.

My favorite things to do are talk to people, write and play on the computer.  So I make sure that my business revolves around those 3 activities.
