Wow. Pretty much genius. “Get the compression of a JPEG and keep the transparency of a PNG. With SVG.” http://peterhrynkow.com/how-to-compress-a-png-like-a-jpeg/ …
September 7, 2014. Using SVG to shrink your PNGs. Wouldn't it be great if you could get the compression of a JPEG and keep the transparency of a PNG? Well, you can, sort of. Here's a little trick that I discovered while working on the new Sapporo Beer website.

After renting with competitors I was very happy with EuropCar. Great accessible prices (actually better prices than the competitors I used) and car types, easy-going customer service and conviniently located in the middle of city centre. I can confidently say I'll use them again.

I went to take my bike and get my brakes bleed (but working brake), true my rear wheel and sort some worn bushings for my rear suspension as well as it felt a bit loose (although I didn't know it had to do with the bushings). The kid that took my bike said that overall was going to be about 20 euros the whole thing. So that was fine. What was not fine was that they didn't tell me the bike wasn't going to be ready by the time I needed to pick it up. They called me almost 2 hours later (by the time they called I was on my way) than the pickup time. When I arrived the kid claimed to have been calling me a while and couldn't get a hold on me. Anyways, when I arrived 2 hours and a half later than the appointed time my bike was pulled apart and this kid proceeded to tell me that I need to get new calipers, new bushings and that I needed a new a rear tyre (the tyre had only a few scratches on the side). Couldn't that be determined earlier when I drop the bike or called me explaining me the situation in advance? As I wasn't happy to this approach of trying to get money off me I said, ok, give me the bike as I brought it and charge me for whatever repair you did. I got my bike back and the front brake wasn't working. I told them then, my front brake was working before, can you at least give me the bike as I brought it in? Then another guy came in, took care of my bike and return it to me with the brake practically fixed as I was hoping from the beginning. The only plus I would give to them is that they didn’t charge me after the hassle. All in all, I think the approach they took to take care of a customer I don’t think it was the appropriate. If they would have proceeded in an honest and upfront manner I wouldn’t have been annoyed in spite of the situation. The shop looks great though!

I'll try to avoid this place. Even on an emergency (which was my case). I went to have my rear wheel trued and it wasn't totally aligned, center and radial when I picked it up. I could have returned and have them look at it again, but I worried they'll break it or not fix it at all. A waste of 18 euros for a job badly done (I later realized on the receipt, I was charged for a bike part not for the job. Probably the employee bought a part for himself with my money)
