Alright. It's been hectic the last month - my (Issa) mum came out to meet us in Australia, we met up with Nita's family in Perth for some excellent times, an article on Maptia and another in next months Overland Magazine. All in all, pretty exciting!

Oh yeah, we also worked our way through Australia's red centre (mostly in the dirt) and across the Nullarbor (mostly in a straight line) before wrapping up our time in Oz and shipping the bikes.

No wonder we're playing catch-up on our own site :)  So, a new post!
We awake to a bright sun and perfectly warm day. The heat which had followed us through much of this leg is long gone and we welcome it’s absence. After w

A brand new post from Santiago de Compostela!

The heatwave continues but our journey north eventually brings with it cooler temperatures, pillars of bone and ten-thousand pilgrims at the end of their long journey. There's a lot happening in this corner of the world...

Even at this early hour the sun is sitting high enough in the sky to seemingly burn our shadows onto the ground. The heat is searing and dissolving our breakfast in buckets of sweat as we wave our ...

A new post! After a run of questionable luck, we make some tough decisions about our run through Morocco. This unimaginably beautiful country isn't quite done with us yet!

http://www.welovemotogeo.com/archives/12620
The days of wishing for things like good weather are a distant memory. Leaving the wonderful town of Chefchaouen all we’re hoping for is a day without drama; a day of clear riding along Moroccos ro...

A new post! Probably our lowest point on this journey - a crash, Nita's heart and the trots all in one day! Still, even when it all seems to be going wrong, people emerge from nowhere to help make it right.

From the Edge of Narrow Moroccan Roads

For all of the activity at the border it doesn’t take long for us to feel like we’ve left it all behind. After passing through a few busy streets we leave the caterpillar of traffic and take a righ...

A new post! Spain's beautiful east and the beginning of Nita's heart woes on the road:

The staff at Hotel Termas Marinas El Palasiet are excellent and the manager, Joaquin Farnos, is wonderfully friendly. We’re not sure if a security camera picked up the F650's headstand in the parki...

Changing things up to take a break from writing :) A new post with lots of pics and few(er) words… http://www.welovemotogeo.com/archives/10971
True to the idea of taking some time away from computers (and technology in general), we're just going to write about a couple of highlights - which turns out to be harder than you'd think. Nothing...

Well, well. A new post! We're slowly catching up...

While we were sad to see the end of our time in Morocco, Spain and Portugal were calling. It was time to move from the unpredictable roads of North Africa to some simple pleasures found in the food and people of these great countries!

There’s nothing about the ferry from Tangier to Tarifa that seems complicated. Exiting Morocco is, by far, the easiest border we’ve dealt with. There’s the usual lines and, when the gate opens, a c...

A new post! Leaving North Africa on a great note…

A Souk, a Riad and the Road North:

Almost overnight, something changes for us in Morocco. Perhaps it’s the energy that envelops Meknes, perhaps it’s the massive injection of B12 back into our diets. Maybe, it’s just me letting go of...

A new post! After a day of crashes and being stranded in the Rif Mountains while Nita's heart misbehaves, our incredible hosts (a family of hashish farmers) show us what Moroccan hospitality is all about! Then, it's on to the amazing city that is Chefchaouen...

The view of the Rif Mountains from high on this stoney perch is stunning. It’s Bilay’s favourite spot and it’s easy to see why; two crashes (one each) and a few hours stranded on the side of a moun...

A World Between Countries and Spies Like... Us?

The events of the previous day don’t simply fade into a shrug. In all honesty, continuing the journey to Morocco seems incredibly foolhardy. Yet something in both of us is pushing to work through o...

The excellent folks at Touratech-USA hooked us up with some TOURATECH Suspension upgrades - and changed the way we ride. Here's our first impression of the adventure-ready kit:

In late July, our friends and sponsors at Touratech USA set up an opportunity for us to meet the crew at Touratech HQ in Niedereschach, Germany while getting a huge upgrade to our stock suspension ...

Story
Introduction
Below is my professional profile - usually reserved for speaking engagements and the like. In reality, my (our) plans have changed dramatically!

We're in the process of selling all that we own and planning a RTW trip on motorcycles starting in July of this year. You can read about our adventures on our site, welovemotogeo.com, on twitter (@gomotogeo), on Google+ and on Facebook. We'll be on the road for a number of years - shifting our focus onto ways of making our passion our life's work.

Nita and I are also the founders of the Lost for Good Foundation - but more on that soon.
