New Video: 2 Chainz - I'm Different

The G.O.O.D Music MC releases the visuals for his DJ Mustard produced joint, 'I'm Different', the lastest single from his Grammy-nominated debut 'Based on a T.R.U. Story'

The video basically shows a different take on themes we've all seen and we all see in our daily lives, including cops pulling young black men over, topless car washes and the like. You definitely want to watch this one, as I'm certain you've never seen anything like it...
“I wrote the treatment for that and I’m really excited to continue pushing the envelope and giving the fans something to see, some excitement again, really building that curiosity up with hip-hop again—I’m happy to be one of the frontrunners for that campaign,” he said.

Fat Joe faces up to 2 years in jail for tax evasion

Rap star "Fat Joe" faces up to two years in prison after pleading guilty Thursday to failing to pay taxes on nearly $3 million in income over two years.

The performer, whose real name is Joseph Cartagena, entered the plea in federal court in New Jersey because some of the companies he earns money from are incorporated there.

The 42-year-old Miami Beach, Fla., resident entered pleas to two counts covering years 2007 and 2008 but his sentencing will take into consideration the government's initial allegation that he failed to pay income taxes for years 2007 through 2010. Federal prosecutors said the total tax loss to the government for those four years was $718,038.

Cartagena lawyer Jeffrey Lichtman said his client "had already taken steps to resolve this situation" before he was charged. He said the rapper hoped to pay back the taxes by the time of his sentencing April 3.

Real Gangsters Force Studio Gangster Rick Ross To Cancel Concerts For  Invoking Names of Larry Hoover and Big Meech...

Rick Ross is being forced to cancel concerts in the face of threats by Gangster Disciples members who are upset that the rapper has invoked the name of a gang founder in one of his songs.

In YouTube videos, gang members warn Ross, 36, that he will end up in a hearse unless he pays tribute for using Larry Hoover’s name in “B.M.F. (Blowing Money Fast).” Hoover, serving life in federal prison, co-founded the Gangster Disciples in Chicago in the late-1960s.

The gang, which has grown to include chapters nationwide, has also accused Ross of coopting its Star of David logo on the cover of his new mixtape “The Black Bar Mitzvah.”

Another gang leader, Demetrius “Big Meech” Flenory of the Black Mafia Family, is also mentioned in the song, which shares an acronym--“BMF”--with the Ross song itself. Like Hoover, Flenory is a federal inmate (though he has a release date in 2032).

Ross, of course, has a working familiarity with the penal system, having served previously as a corrections officer in Florida. The rapper (real name: William Leonard Roberts) initially denied working as a screw, but eventually fessed up when TSG published documents from his Department of Corrections personnel file.

Those records showed that Ross swore a loyalty oath upon getting hired and agreed to “shoot an inmate attempting to escape.” His perfect attendance record earned him a nifty “Certificate of Appreciation” from corrections officials. In his 1997 resignation letter (submitted 18 months after his hiring), Ross thanked his superiors for “your interest in my career and for the experience I’ve gained through my employment.”

Ross--who has an encyclopedic knowledge of hoodlums of every stripe--copped his handle from notorious L.A. drug kingpin “Freeway” Ricky Ross, who earlier this year lost a lawsuit brought againt the performer for boosting his name and identity.

New Video: French Montana - Only If For A Night

Dare I say this shows a more relaxed side of French? Yes...

New Video: 50 Cent - My Life (Featuring Eminem and Adam Levine)

In this joint directed by Rich Lee, Mr. Fiddy supposedly gets an assist from Em and Adam Levine.

However,  truth be told, since 50 has less visual and vocal time than the other two, a better description would be that Adam Levine gets an assist from Eminem and 50 Cent on this banging track.

Either way, one thing is certain, the Eminem / 50 Cent collabo power hasn't diminished with the passage of time...
