I'm still not convinced that Google+ has enough traction to be a viable tool in the long-run. Despite 'Circles' being a very neat solution to the friends/acquaintances/"people I've never met" impedance, the inner workings/functionality has (or can) be replicated by any other social network.

I'll allow the flawed article (not for the data, but for the views expressed), there are not many companies of Google's size where senior management's dog-fooding is made public. For example, there is no listing of Amazon senior execs' recent shopping purchases on Or the number of Yahoo execs whose browser homepage is Yahoo!.
A count of posts on the company's social network shows little public interaction among senior management with the company's new foray. Read this blog post by Steven Musil on Digital Media.
