On Saturday the 10th of June, International School of Hamburg hosted for the first time “ART FUSION” - a collaborative art night at ISH. From 18:00 to 22:00, the main Lobby and Aula of the school transformed into an Art Gallery displaying professional works of art by international renowned artist, Antonio Del Prete, local Hamburg artist, Anna Schellberg, and Leela Wang an ISH parent and artist. A selection of imaginative artworks by this year’s Grade 12 IB Visual Arts students was exhibited alongside. Our Head of School, Mr. Andrew Cross opened the social event with an introduction to the exhibiting artists and a brief explanation of the main idea behind “ART FUSION”.

Yesterday, ISH community was highly entertained by our Junior School Choir, who skilfully acted and sang beautiful songs in their project, 3 of a Kind. From Billy Goats Gruff, Three Blind Mice, Three Fuzzy Bears, Three Little Pigs, Three Musketeers, Three Little Maids to The Three Caballeros and many other, our Junior School Choir clearly exhibited talent. A big thanks goes to Mrs. Patterson and her team for this great show, well done!

Exactly one week ago, the International School Ikast-Brande visited our school, took part in the Junior School Assembly and met our Head of School and our Principals. It was a fantastic opportunity to exchange thoughts and ideas and we hope to meet the friendly Danish teachers once again in the future.
Thank you for the lovely visit!

ISH is very proud of 20 student delegates who proved to be excellent representatives of the country of Chad and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), at The Hague Model United Nations. The students portrayed strong work ethics in preparing resolutions and policy papers on the issues to be debated in their committee such as ‘Preserving national traditions, culture and language in a globalized world’ amongst many other crucial topics.
A special thanks to Mr. Dove and Mrs. Hayward who helped realise the participation of our school.
