Falco welcomes everyone back to school!
This morning our ISH Falcons mascot joined the Head of School, Mr. Cross and Acting Secondary School Principal, Mr. Gülzow to welcome back students from their February break. Nothing like a warm cuddle and smile to start off the term!

Exactly one week ago, the International School Ikast-Brande visited our school, took part in the Junior School Assembly and met our Head of School and our Principals. It was a fantastic opportunity to exchange thoughts and ideas and we hope to meet the friendly Danish teachers once again in the future.
Thank you for the lovely visit!

ISH is very proud of 20 student delegates who proved to be excellent representatives of the country of Chad and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), at The Hague Model United Nations. The students portrayed strong work ethics in preparing resolutions and policy papers on the issues to be debated in their committee such as ‘Preserving national traditions, culture and language in a globalized world’ amongst many other crucial topics.
A special thanks to Mr. Dove and Mrs. Hayward who helped realise the participation of our school.

Over the course of three days, the ISH community has gathered 50(!!) boxes of winter clothes for people in need. What a fantastic achievement. Thank you to the ISH community for the valuable donations and to Shima Lehmann, who initiated the project. What a great display of community spirit!

Great news for ISH's smallest students: A second P1 class will open its doors on January 10!
The new classroom teacher Anja Dexter and her classroom assistant Ai Hammond are not only highly valued members of ISH educational team, together they bring more than 23 years experience in international childhood education
We wish the new students all the best, knowing that they are in safe and caring hands.

Special thanks go to Mrs. Patterson for organising this remarkable performance.

The very first "International Exchange Summit Hamburg" was recently held at ISH. In a collaborative effort with Kühne Logistics University, ISH invited representatives from international institutions and provided a platform for international dialogue and exchange.
It was a very successful evening, and we look forward to organising it again next year!

We are excited to announce the appointment of ISH's new Head of School, Mr Andrew Cross.
The search was an intensive process that involved more than 50 applicants, which led to a short list of highly experienced candidates.
Given his tremendous work ethic, positive and caring nature and his professionalism, we are happy Mr Cross has filled this very important role.
We congratulate Mr Cross in his new role as Head of School of the International School of Hamburg!
