Ain't no existential crisis like your first brush with nihilism. I bathed in nihilism for 7 years. If you can climb out of that pit, nothing in this world is really all that challenging.

I'm glad to finally hear word about it. I find his reason for the delay perfectly understandable.

Sometimes a joke sticks in your brain and keeps rattling around till eventually it has to be exorcised like a demon. That hideous pun or whatever it is in panel four just wouldn’t leave me alone. It seems that often the real work of writing humor isn’t pulling new material from the ether, but workshopping a joke until it functions. The comic Paulie and Freddie are referring to is Nick Bertozzi’s The Salon (which wasn’t out when I was in middle ...

Usually, this McDonald's is great. They are usually quick, the food is usually hot, and the staff is usually courteous; but their breakfast crew, on the other hand... I just went through the drive thru and ordered a Big Breakfast without hotcakes. When I first pulled into the drive thru I was behind another vehicle that made its order then pulled around, I pulled up to the speaker and waited... and waited... and waited. After about eight minutes I decided to pull into a parking space and go inside, but the dining room was closed, so I decided to try my luck with the drive through again. This time they took my order. Now, when I did pull around, the girl at the first window was polite but the guy who was handing out the food at the second window didn't say a darn thing at all and had an attitude like I was bothering him. When I inspected the contents of the bag when I pulled away (I know, I should have checked first) I found they gave me no utensils or napkins, although they did give me syrup, though I didn't order hotcakes. On top of all that, the hashbrowns were cold and barely edible, even by fast food standards. If it wasn't for this incident, I would have bumped up my rating for the food and service by a notch, I hope the management gets their breakfast crew whipped into shape soon.

These guys really go the extra mile to take care of their customers and make them feel at home. Since I bought my Scion from them I have continued to use the dealership for my scheduled services. Sure, going to Jiffy Lube might be a little cheaper, but the care and attention to detail that Richmond Toyota displays makes it totally worth while.
