The Robot Tax Fallacy, Always insightful and on point from +Gideon Rosenblatt I wonder if the system where UBI was drawn from automation would be a possible step forward?

Completely mesmerized by Jaron Lanier and his views on technology and big data, and everything else, and I must say to the world before I am convinced otherwise, that I can never ever agree with his vision for the future, placing the monetization closer to the process of information creating. The reason is the following - The cherry from the tree is made free to the animals to eat and distribute the seeds, and so is the information among us humans when we create them, and only some of them find their way to the distribution network, just like genetics creates itself. I think the main focus should be in adjusting this distribution network, and decentralizing as AI emerges more powerful then ever in the hands of individuals as opposed to the organizations. That said I am completely in agreement with his points about our advertising system being broken, as well as his views on big data, centers of powers around "big" computers,.... and everything else regarding how to run a civilization! Well worth to read and watch www.jaronlanier.com

I just published an article on Medium about Live Streaming and why I believe that it is very important step not only for technology, but also in social sense and changes ahead of us, if we are to become unified in our diversities going forward.

We as a civilization develop using the trajectory of the fractal. This article is highly recommended:

"Taylor found that Pollock’s patterns were not random after all. They were fractal—and the complexity of those fractals steadily increased as Pollock’s technique matured.

Now, Pollock would not have known what a fractal was, nor would anyone else have at the time. It wasn’t until 1975 that the eminent mathematician Benoit Mandelbrot coined the term to describe patterns that are self-similar across different-sized scales, a “middle ground” between order and chaos"
