Halal meat is served here per note stated in the menu. Owners are also Muslim. Nice little Afghani place close to downtown Hayward. Tried the Chapli Kabob plate and was pleasantly surprised at how much meat they give you! Very "fat" chaplis. Although I wish they were a bit crispier. The salad that comes with the plate is good, but the side of channa (garbanzo beans) and potato was way too small (it tasted good though). Friendly service and nicely decorated interior. Limited seating inside (approx. 9 small tables). Will come again to try out the other menu items.

Halal meat is served here. Owners are known Muslims. This place has been in business for almost 30 years, so it must be good! Was very impressed with the Nihari as well as the chicken tikka (I had the mixed kebab plate which has a little bit of everything). The naans were great, as was the mango lassi. Chai was good too. Friendly service. They also have a musalla next door in case you need to do prayers. I recommend this place if you are in the area. I hope to be back again soon!

Halal Chicken & Waffles! Open for Sunday Brunch and Friday Lunch only. The Fried chicken wings and halal beef hot links are also very good!

Tried "The Lou" which is a veggie deep dish pizza with sliced tomatoes on top and spinach and other goodies inside the deep dish. It was a good pizza although the crust was a little dry. I forgot to ask for the butter crust, which is supposed to taste good! Anyways we also had the calamari (good) and the salad (also very good). Very friendly service and we did not have to wait very long to get our deep dish pizza which was good. The interior of this location looks like a 1970's style steak house with wood paneling and large wood timber beams, but it has some character to it. Plenty of seating inside with both open tables as well as booth seating.

Halal meat is served here, per signs on the restaurant (and the name of the business:)). Slightly disappointed in the food here. Had both the Chicken and Gyro platters. The chicken was better. The gyro had no flavor. The rice was slightly undercooked. Service was fast and friendly. For take-out they pack it up good and give you large packet of the white and red sauce (whichever you prefer) which is good. The red sauce is pretty spicy (more than I expected). Decent sized place, but get's packed in the evenings. They have valet parking which is good, since the shopping center is small and hard to find a parking spot! Look forward to try again when they come to the Bay Area soon!

Halal meat is served here, per signs on the restaurant and the owners are known Muslims. Formerly known as Karachi Classics, but now re-branded and focused on American style food such as sliders and wings. Tried the garlic parmesan chicken wings and they were great. They are small size, since they are all natural and hand-slaughtered halal without any hormones, etc. The sliders were very good too. Limited seating inside, but they have some seating available outside. The desi bun kabob, which they still have on the menu is excellent, so I recommend that if you havent tried it before.

Partial Halal Menu. The Chicken and the Lamb is Halal here, per verbal assurance from staff. I ordered the pomegranate chicken wings, which had a good sauce, but the wings were slightly under cooked (but still edible). Also had the chicken & lamb kebab combo plate with rice (ordered the half dill rice and half regular rice) which comes with two grilled tomatoes. The kebabs were good. Wish they had some butter for the rice. For appetizer had pita bread with fresh cilantro and feta cheese (great) and also had the hummus which was also very good. This is a fancier sit down place and get's busy on the weekends so you may have to wait 20 - 30 minutes for a table. Very friendly staff and service was great.
