The ICF Nominating Committee is now accepting applications for the 2019 ICF Global Board of Directors. Any ICF-credentialed Member in good standing is eligible to apply for a seat on the ICF Global Board of Directors, including ICF Global Board Chair. The ICF Global Nominating Committee will then review applications and invite selected applicants to participate in an interview. Once candidates are selected for the ballot, all applicants will be notified of their status and we will hold the election.

You can review the ICF Global Board criteria and begin the application process at https://coachfederation.org/elections. The deadline to apply is August 30, 2018, at 12 Noon (New York).

Have you ever had a client whose needs fell outside the scope of coaching? It can be challenging to know when and how to refer a client to a mental health professional. We've created a reference sheet, available at http://bit.ly/2JV830a, and white paper, available at http://bit.ly/2l7KPpk, that you can use as a resource to understand when and how to refer a client to a mental health professional.

Seventy-seven percent of human resources practitioners and leaders report that their organization is in a state of constant change, with priorities and strategies continuously shifting. ICF’s latest research, conducted in partnership with the Human Capital Institute (HCI), explores how coaching strategies can be used to build change management capabilities.

If you are an individual employed within an organization as a leader, manager, human resources or learning and development professional, internal coach, or individual contributor, you're invited to complete this online survey:

Our very own assistant executive director, George Rogers, is quoted in an Association for Talent Development - ATD article about the importance of professional credentials, especially in non-regulated professions such as coaching.

"'Earning a credential provides a sense of professional and personal achievement, allowing individuals to benefit by being part of the larger community of practitioners and helping professionals demonstrate their knowledge, skills, and commitment to high ethical and professional standards,' states Rogers."
