Did you know that dark sunglasses without UV protection are worse for your eyes than light ones? That’s because you’re less likely to look away from harmful bright sunlight or to squint, which are self-protective mechanisms. Do you regularly wear sunglasses when outdoors in the sunlight?

my only comment is that its well worth the money to buy high quality glasses.  I went for a year on gas station glasses and in skiing and biking environments I noticed my eyes hurt after each outing, with my quality brand glasses, they no longer do.
