Fantastic hotel. Def 5 star, nothing short. The rooms are top notch: great beds, TV and bathrooms. On the second morning of our stay I discovered the spa and made a habit afterwards of going every morning and steaming, shaving, and cleaning up before a busy day exploring and enjoying the Commonwealth. Within walking distance of all the cool sites, for example the Freedom Trail. The concierge dude always smiled, which all 5 star hotels should have, but some don't.

This was a one night stay for us at this hotel. Not only does it have an intimate vibe, but it was the attentive staff that made our stay wonderful. Staff are always acknowledging your presence with a "hello." Check-in was probably the fastest I've ever experienced. Our standard room was a comfortable size, not too big or small. It was tastefully decorated and intimate like the rest of the property. I'm sure the city view is great to have, but our partial water view was beautiful. We used the gym. It has your basic cardio and weights. I think they could use a greater variety of machines based on the space they have. That extra space is used for stretching. There's plenty of Swiss balls, stretch mats and bands. For those who are in to swimming, an indoor pool is available. What I also liked was the outdoor space. The hotel sits off Fort Point Channel. It was beautiful and relaxing in the morning to have some coffee and sit by the water. Lastly, the hotel is a 5 minute walk from South Station and close proximity to the Seaport, convention center, Quincy Market and the North End. One last tip....be sure to walk along the Harbor Walk behind the hotel.

Stayed here so we could visit Salem in October. The hotel was really nice from the outside. The rooms are modern. The only problem we had was the mold in the shower stall but they sent housekeeping up to clean it. Would we stay here again? Maybe. There are a lot of hotels in Boston so I'd shop around first; but not ruling this location out.

Very nice hotel, comfy beds, nice tub for soaking, loved getting Ambassador status upgrades - close walk to pretty much everything in Downtown. The only drawback is that parking is not included and adds up fast at $44 per day. That said, it would probably be worth it for people who want the convenience and proximity to attractions.

Beautiful hotel, stunning lobby. 3 restaurants inside the hotel. Awesome extras in the room such as robe and slippers. Strange pass-through from the main room to the bathroom. Not a fan of that. Nice deep bathtub.

Stayed here on our honeymoon last year and this hotel massively exceeded our expectations. Fantastic location, lovely staff and a world class fitness center. Could not recommended any more highly and if we were to go back to Boston, we would happily stay here again. Fantastic hotel right in the heart of Boston.
