Interbloc Builds a Real Castle at Fieldays®

Interbloc’s unique modular construction system has been used to construct a real life castle for Fieldays 2015 at site H39.

As part of the launch of their ‘Imagine What You Could Build’ campaign Interbloc has built a castle measuring 18m x 11m x 7m high from solid one tonne concrete blocks. “It’s about showing the extreme versatility of Interbloc modular construction system, while having a bit of fun” explains Scott Bright, Interbloc’s founder. Imagine giant lego and you’ll have a pretty good concept of our Interbloc works.

Interbloc’s ‘Imagine What You Could Build’ campaign challenges the public to come up with innovative, unique ideas for the use of Interbloc blocks. While a castle is at the extreme end of what you can build with Interbloc blocks, it is designed to show how flexible the system is.

When Bramley Contractors needed a fast, durable, engineered wall solution for the Rhino enclosure at Auckland Zoo, they turned to Interbloc. The wall took only three hours to put in place, significantly faster then the expected two days for timber wall.

We're making farming easier.

Imagine being able to open your sliding roof at the touch of a button from the comfort of your tractor cab. It's now a reality.

Last fieldays Interbloc launched a new retractable sliding roof. This roof proved extremely popular. Since then we've been working hard to further improve the roof based on feed back from our customers. It quickly became apparent ease of use was a high priority. So we developed a solar powered automatic retractable sliding roof. It operates like a automatic garage door - push a button and it opens. Push another button and it closes.

We will have a working display bin and roof at our Fieldays site G112. Come along, have a cup of coffee and try out the new roof.
