Anthropologists study Meth 'communities' in Chicago

I know I said I'd be easing up on the War on Drugs posts ... but this one is pretty interesting. It tells of the very specific kind of world and networks that meth dealers/users/makers have formed, and how the specific nature of the law and the controls change the social fabric of drug use. I have to say - not an attractive picture, but much of the nastiest bits of it possibly attributable to the underground nature of the trade.
