I have the same frustrating experience with claiming my travel insurance with Insureandgo. I notified them of a claim on 29 July, submitted all documentation on 17 Aug and then silence. Calls to their call centre always come back with the same answer - there is no more update on your file - reading from a computer screen. the most important aspect of insurance is the claim process. You hope you do not need it, but when it is needed, it has to be effective to help. Nothing from this mob.

This is the WORST travel insurance ever!! Do NOT under any circumstances decide on this company for your travel insurance. We were caught up in the 2016 Feb cyclone in Fiji and all flights were cancelled for 3 days. I put in a claim and was told I would hear back within 10 business days and it was well over a month before I heard anything. The staff there were not consistent in dealing with my claim, I received information that was conflicting from different staff members that I spoke to. The end claim was nowhere near the amount of money that I had spent during the additional days spent in Fiji. Staff did not seem to care about my frustration and I felt like I was talking to a brick wall. DO NOT GET YOUR TRAVEL INSURANCE FROM INSURANCE AND GO! BIGGEST MISTAKE YOU COULD DO
