One of the biggest things we help our customers with is deciding exactly which of our InfraStop® products is right for their projects. Single or double bubble? Radiant barrier? White on one side or reflective foil on both sides? How much square footage do you need? Do you need a roll custom-cut to a precise width? We’re more than happy to help you work through these and other possibilities as you place your order to make sure you get exactly what you need. http://www.insulationstop.com/single-bubble-white-foil-insulation.html

Radiant heating systems installed below flooring are becoming ever more popular in new home construction. The insulation products featured in the under-concrete section of our website are perfect for maximizing the effectiveness of these systems, focusing the heat produced by a system on its intended destination: the living space to be heated. When we say that we provide instructions for all types of radiant barrier and foil insulation projects, we aren’t kidding! It’s not just that we show you how to insulate a metal building; it’s that we show you how to insulate a new roof, an existing roof, walls with or without furring, with or without a thermal break, and more. Our specific measurements and graphics make each installer an expert, whether they know InfraStop® inside and out or they’ve never worked with it before. http://www.insulationstop.com/radiant-barrier-bubble-foil-insulation-applications

Why install reflective foil insulation in an attic that already has mass insulation in place? Because mass insulation impedes convective and conducive heat transfer, and InfraStop® impedes radiant heat transfer. When you combine the two different insulation styles, you get a complete system that effectively blocks all three major heat transfer categories. Our website has plenty of additional information on how that works, as well as detailed guidance for correct installation of our InfraStop® products. http://www.insulationstop.com/infrastop-ir-radiant-barrier-foil-insulation-48-250.html

Costa Rica has it all: direct sunlight, oppressive humidity, and unrelenting heat. If you’re going to live in a cement-block house there, it’s a great idea to look for an insulation solution that can help block some of the radiant heat from the sun’s rays. That’s exactly why a customer ordered InfraStop® from us a few years ago, and they were kind enough to send us some amazing photos of their job. Insulation is notoriously difficult to work with—just ask anyone who has suffered having fiberglass particles embedded in their hands after handling mass insulation! Radiant barrier is totally different. It’s very light and flexible, and you can staple, tape, or nail it to your attic’s beams in whatever way is easiest for you. It doesn’t attract pests looking for nest materials, and it won’t make your hands itch uncontrollably!
