New blog post: Making it easier to research and write security reports - Search for useful content in one place within our Information Management System.
We aim to provide as much useful information as possible within our Information Management System. In order to do that, we have made it possible to include social data and news feeds, such as Twitter and media sources, on the system. Our clients don't need to sign in to Twitter or browse ...

New blog post: Our article round up for May features a range of content from car-to-car communication to decision making and artificial intelligence.
As you might know from our previous posts, we're doing a lot of R&D around the concept of movement, using vehicle, driver and journey analytics to help our clients improve safety, efficiency and performance. We really enjoyed this month's MIT Technology Review which had lots of good articles on ...

New blog post: Looking for data on terrorism or conflict? We’ve put together a blog series highlighting useful resources for high risk regions. First up, the Global Terrorism Database.
Over the next four days, I'll be posting a blog mini-series highlighting interesting resources in relation to terrorism and conflict data as well as a couple of other data resources we've found useful for high risk regions. First up, is the Global Terrorism Database (GTD).

New blog post: We’ve made a short video to highlight how proximity and geofences can make routing smarter. Geospatial boundaries can add context to routing and provide companies with useful notifications about the progress of a journey.
Here's a quick peek at some work we're doing around the concept of proximity and geofences, the name sometimes given to geospatial boundaries. We created a short video showing a simulated vehicle passing through a highlighted section of road. As it does so, note the change in status of the ...

New blog post: Save time creating geofences - Search, customise, save and export geofences based on OSM points of interest such as roads and buildings.
Usually, geofences are all about drawing geometrics on a map using OpenLayers or Leaflet (open-source libraries to load, display and render maps). However, this can be really time consuming as you have to trace geofences manually. This can lead to errors and irregularities at different zoom ...

New blog post: Combining geofences and routing allows you to trace and track movement of assets on the ground and can help you identify if a vehicle deviates from a planned route. We’ve created a short video to show a simulated asset moving along a set route. Any deviation from the planned journey triggers a notification.
Combining geofencing and routing can provide useful insights to our customers. We've incorporated the power of OSRM (open source routing machine) into our Geofence API so that it is easier to select fixed and custom routes for journeys. Selected routes can then be given a risk or threat level.
