Finished the foam shape and paper mache of the cargo bucket for the 20" kargador. A couple of layers of FRP, some body filler and a lick of paint and she'll be good to haul.

Make mine mini. Built a 20 inch front loader "bakfiet". Surprisingly, the cargo bay is not that smaller than the previously built 29er.

Wow. This person thinks that Manila is the cargo bike capital of the world, even more so than Copenhagen. I wish this mindset would rub off more on the locals.
Another post here after my experience over in Manila. I've been thinking about it, and its really quite an amazing cycling city because of the many different forms cycling that take place there. Bikes are used for exercise, personal transport, but also as public transport, transport of goods, ...

Continuing the circumnavigation series, this trip will take us to Occidental Mindoro; specifically Lubang Island to visit the trail that the famous Japanese soldier, Hiroo Onoda used while he stayed on the island for almost 3 decades.

June 12 - 14, 2015, Friday to Saturday.

There is only 1 trip that leaves Calatagan Port in Batangas most days of the week, and the time is usually dependent on the riding public; usually the boat sets sail around 10am, so its better to be early at the port and wait there.

The whole road network is a little over 40km (according to Google maps), which can be ridden in one morning, so most of the time will be spent exploring the island, maybe (MAYBE!) going up Gozar Radar station, or going to the neighbouring islands of Ambil and Golo to bike explore (read hiking! hahaha).

You guys know the drill: bring a little more money than needed, a sunshiny attitude, etc, etc. See you then!

This for real? If so, then the price would be astronomical.
Daily Mail Online
Created by South Korean designer Jeabyun Yeon, the gadget has two arms which branch out to the side and function as gills.
