We drove to Santa Fe New Mexico to spend the Thanksgiving holliday with my wife's family. Driving on route 26 between Deming and Hatch New Mexico there is a stetch where there is farms on both sides of the road. Where there are farms, there are rodents. Where there are rodents, there are hawks sitting on telephone poles waiting for rodents to run out into view. After driving past several hawks sitting on poles I decided I was going to stop and try to get a photo of the next one I spotted. To bad the pole and wire are in the shot, but this little excursion was a pleasant distraction in the middle of an eight hour drive. I hope all you American Google plussers had a pleasant Thanksgiving, we had a great time. This is a Red Tailed Hawk photographed on route 26 in southern New Mexico USA.

Bandelier National park Just outside of Santa Fe, New Mexico, USA.

To think hundreds  ago native Americans lived their and climbed up the same ladder to get to the cliff dwelling up to high. It leaves me breathless.

Great location! Walking distance to the plaza, shops, and restaurants. Room was spacious, well decorated and comfortable. Innkeepers Terry and Becca were extremely attentive and prepared a gourmet breakfast each morning and delicious snacks every afternoon. Free wifi and free parking. I cannot wait to go back to Santa Fe and when I do this summer, I will be staying at Inn on the Paseo!

What a charming place to stay! My husband and I really enjoyed the intimacy of the Inn. It was a fantastic experience. The Inn is conveniently located within walking distance to the Plaza. The gourmet breakfast was always top notch. The rooms were cozy and clean! Would definitely recommend and I look forward to going back again with my family and friends.

I stayed here during Indian Market in 2012 - what a great place, quiet and within walking distance to the Plaza (10-12 mins max). The owner is super. The breakfast was great and the snacks (usually homemade cookies) were great also. I would recommend to stay here, its not a luxury hotel or anything like that, its a large Bed and Breakfast and its perfect for a two or three night get away. Jim Logan

What a wonderful place to vacation! My wife and I had never been to Santa Fe so didn't know what to expect. Upon arriving the owners, Rebecca and Terry, took us in as if we had all been friends for decades. For starters the room was immaculately clean and neat, a very important detail to my wife. The breakfast was out of a 5 star restaurant or the food channel; Terry really knows what he is doing and his passion for cooking shines through. And last but not least, location location location. The plaza was a stones throw away and fort marcy is directly across the street for the best view in the entire city! Cant wait to go back!

"Inn on the Paseo" is the most wonderful hotel/bed & breakfast me and my husband have ever visited and we have been everywhere from 5 star hotels in Guangzhou, China, luxurious resorts on Aruba and Thailand, All inclisive resorts in Mexico, family hotels in Greece, business hotels in Europe and Castles in Sweden. We have some to compare with. Staff and management at Inn on the Paseo are extremely service minded and helped us with everything from telling us where to get the best margarita to helping us book taxis and arrange a day at the Japanese spa in the hills. Breakfast was amazing and during the afternoon tea time they served the most delicious chocolate chip cookies, directly out the oven. Hotel rooms were great, wifi worked well and the location is perfect. It is very close to down town and will just take you a couple of min to walk there. Whatever you do, don't miss this place! Sarah

Booked online and it had indicated that children were welcome. Let's just say that was not the experience we had. Were essentially told we were not welcome.
Response from the owner - a year ago
Hi Brian, Children are welcome at our Inn. If there are more than two people booked in any room we do charge an additional persons fee of $25 per person. This policy is stated online during booking and applies to all reservations. We are disappointed you chose not to stay with us.
