Inn on Mill Creek

Shared publicly  -

It was a #snowday at the Inn on Mill Creek B&B today, Feb. 24. Know who didn't mind? The Dark-eyed Juncos. They love the cold weather, preferring to head north to elevations above 5,000 feet in the summer. But they pick our little spot in the woods as their wintertime hangout.

A perfect location to roll out your front door on your MTB or CX bike to hit the gravel roads or MTB trails nearby --- Dave and Bridgette are great hosts that can point you in the right direction to whatever you want to try --- Kitsuma/Youngs Creek trail head is just up (and I mean UP) the road--- and Star Gap is just north..... lots of hiking options nearby too. Breakfast was greatly anticipated each morning.

My girlfriend and I stayed here in the beginning of May and we had a great stay. Off the beaten path but not in the middle of no where. Easy access to town and only 20-30 mins from Ashville. We both are gluten free and Dave and Brigette Prepared some excelent meals for us. They have a vast knowledge of the area on things to do and places to eat to fit our eating style. They are helpful but not in your business. We would deffinatly go back for another stay.

We stayed here earlier this month and had a fabulous weekend. The Inn and surrounding area is absolutely gorgeous! Driving to or from the Inn provides a great view of Pisgah Forest and we were lucky enough to see the leaves changing color. Even better, the Innkeepers are absolutely wonderful. Breakfast both mornings was delicious! They kept snacks out throughout the day, and Dave and Bridget had great information to share about the area. We cannot wait to go back and visit!

The Inn on Mill Creek was a wonderful getaway for my wife and I; from the time we arrived until we finally had to leave, Dave and Brigette were great hosts. Everything was exceptionally clean, and the attention to detail made it a perfect stay for us. The setting of the Inn is beautiful; the pictures on the website just can't do it justice. As others have mentioned, Dave and Brigette were incredibly helpful in any way that we needed; for example, they know the best local restaurants, have copies of their menus, and made reservations for us for a special event. And Dave makes wonderful gourmet breakfasts, different each morning, and a great way to start each day. We will go back, hopefully soon and often; I give the Inn on Mill Creek my highest recommendation!

Great place! Dave and Brigitte could not have been more thoughtful or more helpful at sharing information about local hikes and things to see and do. The food was amazing and the room comfortable and beautiful. Plus their pugs are adorable! We will be back for sure.
