This hotel was in a great location, easy access to shopping and dining on michigan ave. The bus stop to museum csmpus is one block away. The room was clean and comfortable with 4 nice pillows and good bedding and large enough for 2 adults to share comfortably. It is not a 4 star hotel but perfect for a weekend getaway on a budget. The temperature in the room was easy to adjust and make comfortable. They provided a coffee pot and hair dryer which is nice.

The first time we stayed, we received a gift certificate for a free stay valued up to $260 dollars. We received this because the night help was an extremely rude young woman reluctant to help and answer questions. Not to mention a dirty bathroom... We try again today. They refused to let us use our certificate on a Saturday night. We settled for Sunday before labor day. Check in time was 3 p.m. we arrived at 2:53p.m. and they told us the room is NOT AVAILABLE YET!? Here we sit. Waiting for our room. So far not impressed, again.

Nice hotel great service except the I prepaid and still paid $50 dollars exrta in incidentals and $104 in parking fees...also the front desk operator was a little short. If I'm paying top dollar I expect excellent customer service. Try is there anything else I can do for you... And actually wait for a response before picking hanging up the phone.

Rooms do not have the view they promise. Very small bathrooms and the carpet needs an update badly. Checkout is at 12 and check in at 3:00 p.m. Why is the cleaning staff still cleaning rooms at 5 p.m.? They don't tell you that they hold 50 dollars for incidental charges and it can take 7 to 10 business days for that to be refunded to your account.

I got this hotel through Groupon and was extremely disappointed. Upon arrival the bathroom tub was full of water due to the stopper being broken. If you're planning on taking a shower you can expect one of two temperatures- 1. Disney on ice 2. Being burned like a Salem witch. But this was the least of my problems considering on the first night I stayed the bathroom door broke and I was locked in the bathroom for 20 minutes until a guy came and removed the door handle. Luckily I had two friends with me. If I had been alone I might still be in that bathroom crying because I have to pay $14.95 to use the wifi just to give the front desk a call. The overall cleanliness of the hotel was poor, and I would not recommend staying here to a friend.

Rooms were pretty basic but clean. Entire staff was friendly and helpful, especially housekeeping. The Inn is conveniently located and only a block away from the magnificent mile. Also, less than a 5 minute walk to the river. Hotel is a great value....definitely going to stay here on the next Chicago trip.

We booked this hotel through Priceline and we were pleased with the price, especially for the location. However we had a major issue with the HouseKeeper. Not only did she come to our 3 times starting at 8am she never knocked and busted into the room! We're still waiting on our comp room as promised by the manager Alan.

What a wonderful place to stay in downtown Chicago and its close to all those wonderful attractions and restaurants. From the very beginning of my weekend having Jorge check my daughter and I in and giving good suggestions for nearby places to eat. Ending the weekend with Van storing our luggage and giving those last minute directions for the red line on the subway. The bed is comfortable and the water pressure for the shower is wonderful. Although the hallways may be dated the room was clean and quiet. This will be the only place I will consider on my next visit to Chicage.
