This inn had the best breakfast ever....elegant.....choices of home-made oatmeal, two types of eggs, sausage, pancakes, ....etc. served on ceramic plates and metal cutlery. I am so weary of stirofoam and plastic....a welcome change! The rooms are not large.but adequate...the pool is somewhat small but for the reasonable price we really enjoyed the hospitality of the staff and the many amenities it offered. I would go there again.

Although it is not located near downtown, this us a great hotel with courteous staff, clean, large rooms, and a wonderful FREE hearty breakfast. Downtown is easy to get to, and you don't have to deal with the traffic or parking issues, and it is QUIET! It is near the mall and the huge flea market, although if your time is limited, there were no great bargains at the flea market...go to the Plaza unless flea markets are your thing. I'd you have ever been to First Monday in Canton, Tx, you will be disappointed in The Flea at the Downs.

Friendly, clean, easy access from I-25, first decent hotel when coming from Albuquerque, good price (got the priceline price at midnight without the priceline hassle), nice breakfast with real plates and silverware. Stay here, no problems.

The Inn was very nice and clean, the personnel very friendly and accommodable. We reserved room through the Balloon Fiesta Events, paid them by credit card, they sent check for stay to the hotel. When we started to check out, the rate at hotel was higher, we had to leave early due to illness and they would not give a refund. Gave me the run-around why they could not. They had the money but said could not because it they did not make the charge, and could not put back on credit card. So, why couldn't they just write me a check for refund? Duh!! Very disappointing. Won't go back!

Wasn't sure what to expect based on the rather plain exterior, but inside the lobby area was very cozy and the rooms were small but modern and nicely furnished. The free breakfast is excellent and includes hot eggs, bacon, waffles, along with the traditional cold items found at other "breakfast included" hotels. The bathroom includes a large walk-in shower but no bathtub which is perfect for me but some others may prefer a tub. My only complaints about the room were the lack of easy access to power outlets (I had to crawl under the desk to find one) and the old style through-wall A/C where the only temperature setting is a knob ranging from "cooler" to "warmer" which takes some trial and error to get a comfortable temperature. Location-wise it's on the outskirts of town so you'll need to drive to get downtown or to the other attractions. Finally, the breakfast area turns into a lounge in the evening and featured cheap beer and half price appetizers during our visit. Can't go wrong with that! Overall a great stay.

They do have a van in which they will take you down town Santa Fe and pick you up. Supposedly we had to book 24 hours in advance, which means if you just stay overnight, you can't use that service! But then the next person at the front desk told us a different story. So we were bussed to down town and we all agreed when they would pick us up. It was great except that it was late to pick us up and we had started getting worried. They had advertized when we booked the rooms that they gave you one free drink (beer and wine) and appetizer every day. Then denied us until one of our group produced the web page she had printed out six months earlier. The free appetizer was chips and salsa. Gee, no thanks. The cleaning crew LEFT OUR DOOR UNLOCKED! The door had nearly shut, but it hadn't latched and locked. This has never happened in my travels. When I told the front desk, they offered a wimpy apology and only seemed mildly interested in the problem. Maybe they are used to people complaining and have heard this many times before? Oh, and by the way, they will tack on a fee for the use of the in-room safe whether you use it or not. Maybe if they had told us that they would leave our door unlocked, I would have used the safe!

Absolutely outstanding service over the course of the week. They understand customer service and going above and beyond. Bryan at the bar and Hunter (asst manager) were especially outstanding. We were there for a week after my grandmother's funeral and had a large family reunion to honor her memory. The service was great, the rooms clean, and everyone was always exceedingly polite. Would highly recommend!

In September of this year my husband and I stayed at the Inn at Santa Fe. We had an unfortunate incident relating to a misunderstanding. The personnel in charge were very gracious and very promptly cleared up the matter. So I would recommend the Inn if you are ever in Santa Fe.
