The Georgia O'Keeffe Museum is just minutes away from us at Pueblo Bonito. Their current exhibition, Georgia O’Keeffe and Ansel Adams: The Hawai'i Pictures reveals how profoundly both artists were moved by their personal experiences in Hawai'i. Further, the photographs and paintings included in the exhibition express the islands’ unique sense of place, at the same time they reveal the complex continuities with the whole of O’Keeffe and Adams’s respective oeuvres. http://bit.ly/13B7z2a

I had the pleasure of staying at Pueblow Bonito to ring in the New Year and I loved everything about my stay from the wonderful family that runs the B&B to the personality of the room we stayed in. Breakfast was excellent each morning with the homemade tamales being the the star of the menu. The B&B is literally within a short walk of downtown Santa Fe and we barely had to use our vehicle to go anywhere during our stay. I would highly recommend this charming B&B to anyone wanting to get the most out of their stay in Santa Fe.

i called to get a reservation for upwards 2 or 3 months. after talking to "amy"; i asked if i could bring an extra tv with dvd player to put in the bedroom of the suite i was getting. "amy" said i could not and after going back and forth a couple of times of why i could not; she then said the suite was no longer available. she then hung up on me and continued to hang up everytime i called back to talk to the manager. very, very disrespectful. with service like that, they do not deserve to make a profit

Response from the owner - a year ago
Mr John McDonald has been reported to the Santa Fe Police for harrassment after leaving threatening phone message which have been preserved for evidence for future legal action. Amy, the owner, spoke directly with Mr McDonald who didn't want to understand the facility limitations explained to him. Instead he became unreasonable and irrate on the phone. He repeatedly called the inn with threats which included: "You don't know who you're dealing with and "you don't want to mess with me." We try very hard to accomodate guests request, but at times are limited by our historic facility. In this case, Mr McDonald's needs were oriented to a motel/hotel not a small historic b&b- something he was unwilling to understand.

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Super location makes walking into all downtown Santa Fe's sights very easy. We loved staying there and would be very glad to visit again.

We had a lovely two-night stay with our infant. The location was great for walking to downtown, the railyard district, etc. And the hosts were very helpful, sharing advice on what to do's that fit our needs and interests for this last-minute, little-planned family vacation. Onsite convenient parking was great, lots of choice for breakfast, our room was comfy, and we loved the cozy fire to come "home" to. We had a great stay!

Thrilled to hear that, Kim! Thanks for leaving a review here on Google+ Local. It was our pleasure to host you and your little one and offer advice on what to see while you were in town. Our free parking and proximity to many Santa Fe attractions is a big benefit of staying at Pueblo Bonito Inn as well, and a warm fire to come home to is always nice, isn't it? And our wide variety of options at breakfast helps you start your day with gusto. Thanks again for the kind words. We're looking forward to your next visit! -Amy Behm, Owner

Great value, great location, great hospitality and ambiance. We've stayed here twice and will surely be back again. We've been in two different rooms, and they are altogether charming and clean, with a great New Mexico ambiance. Get cozy, settle in, and make yourself a fire in the kiva. The innkeepers and staff are great, and the off-season prices, especially, can't be beat. The location is also great: easy to park your car safely in a quiet area and walk to the plaza and area restaurants, and also close to Trader Joe's if you're into that. I've enjoyed early morning jogs up Canyon Road towards the Dale Ball trails as well, so it's a good launching point to the local outdoors. Breakfast is simple and more akin to a European breakfast: besides coffee, juice, and tea, fix yourself an oatmeal with fruit and granola, grab some fruit (bananas, melon, grapefruit), as well as bagels with a selection of spreads, french toast/waffles, and hardboiled eggs. The knock is that you might not get an authentic NM breakfast this way, but the cost and location makes up for it, as other B&B's we've stayed at with a varied menu are usually twice the price. And there's enough different food to have different things each day. So this is a better situation for getting up in the morning, grabbing breakfast before a morning of skiing, hiking, or biking, and then grab a brunch/lunch later in the day at a place like Tia Sophia's to get your chile fix. This inn is more conducive to exploring your surroundings during the day and then returning to a cozy room at night. So breakfast could be better in comparison to other B&Bs, and there are certainly some very nice properties in Santa Fe: go ahead and walk through some of them and check out the hotel bars, but also check out the prices. I'm still rating it 5 Stars not in comparison to places which are significantly more extensive, but because this inn gives everything it promises, and more, for a great value.

This property offers a lot of value for the money. The 150 year old estate is in good condition and provides a historic charm to your stay. The staff are friendly and helpful. The location is a block from the state capitol and just a few blocks more to the Plaza. It was nice to have safe, on-site parking for our car. As some have said, it would be hard to find a nicer B&B in downtown Santa Fe for the price. Only suggestion would be to provide a true breakfast service as opposed to bagels, fruit, pop-up french toast and such. It would have been great to have a New Mexico style breakfast for tourists visiting Santa Fe.
