Megalomania & Small-Mindedness - How America lost its identity! The America of today has lost faith in its own superiority. It has become a regressive country that is turning its back on the world. The country is no longer proudly leading the way.
In a country that values freedom of opinion higher than almost any other country in the world #AlternativeFacts becoming the norm vs reality based facts.
Many Americans, who are otherwise so polite, lose all restraint when confronted by those who think differently.

Today is international bubble bath day - In the Greek mythologies, the goddess of love and beauty, Aphrodite (aka Venus to the Romans), was said to be born from the foam of the sea. A bubble bath, if you will.
Even though there are no good records of the Bubble Bath Day’s origin, it is not that hard to appreciate the thought of having such a pleasurable experience like a bubble bath. At the same time, the bubbles give you a chance to be creative, naughty and delightfully messy at the same time.

Europeans confident in Obama and Clinton, but not Trump
European attitudes toward President Barack Obama remain very positive. Across the 10 EU nations polled, a median of 77% have confidence in Obama to do the right thing in world affairs, including more than eight-in-ten in Sweden, the Netherlands, Germany and France.
Europeans are somewhat less enthusiastic about Hillary Clinton, although her ratings are still mostly positive: A median of 59% have confidence in her. In contrast, ratings for Donald Trump are overwhelmingly negative. A median of just 9% trust the wealthy real estate developer to do the right thing in world affairs; 85% lack confidence in him.

Plastic has become a vital part of our lives of convenience. Yet the coffee cup lids, water bottles and bags we use once and throw away do end up somewhere in landfills, but also in the ocean.
Nearly every piece of plastic ever made still exists today. More than five trillion pieces of plastic are already in the oceans, and by 2050 there will be more plastic in the sea than fish, by weight!!

A note posted on Twitter from “the people of Germany” that warns of the parallels between Adolf Hitler and Donald Trump has gone insanely viral.
The core message by the German author:
“Of course I can’t speak for the entire population of Germany. I used that signature line as a way of over-dramatizing to add emphasis. I’ve been told it’s a common narrative device. But from what I hear from friends and family back home, what I read on German news sites and social media, many Germans are just scared shitless that an obvious demagogue and outright liar can gather so many people behind him. Yes, it does remind us of something that happened here.”
and
“Whenever I traveled outside Germany in the past, I’ve often been asked how the German people could have fallen for Hitler back in the 30s and 40s. ‘How could your people not have known?’ they asked. I don’t get that much question lately.”

I just watched the movie Before the Flood and hope many other people will do so as well. It does shed a light on URGENT issues in a understandable way.
Before the Flood, directed by Fisher Stevens, captures a three-year personal journey alongside Academy Award-winning actor and U.N. Messenger of Peace Leonardo DiCaprio as he interviews individuals from every facet of society in both developing and developed nations who provide unique, impassioned and pragmatic views on what must be done today and in the future to prevent catastrophic disruption of life on our planet.
