There is a Clock ringing deep inside a mountain. It is a huge Clock, hundreds of feet tall, designed to tick for 10,000 years. Every once in a while the bells of this buried Clock play a melody. Each time the chimes ring, it’s a melody the Clock has never played before. The Clock’s chimes have been programmed to not repeat themselves for 10,000 years.
The full scale 10,000 Year Clock is now under construction.

In 1872, an American tariff law including an unwanted comma cost taxpayers nearly $2m (the equivalent of $40m today). The United States Tariff Act, as originally drafted in 1870, allowed “fruit plants, tropical and semi-tropical for the purpose of propagation or cultivation” to be exempt from import tariffs.
For an unknown reason, when revised two years later, a stray comma snuck in between “fruit” and “plants”. Suddenly all tropical and semi-tropical fruits could be imported without any charge.

Litecoin reached an all-time high today, breaking through the previous record set in September. The digital currency rose to as much as $93.29, according to CoinMarketCap. At this level, Litecoin's price had climbed more than 2,050% year-to-date (YTD).
As for why this alternative protocol asset or "altcoin" has risen so much this year, there are a few likely explanations.
Litecoin, which is very similar to Bitcoin except with a few alterations, has experienced robust gains this year as its digital sibling pushed higher.
