I have replaced ricotta with cottage cheese and added few Indian spices like carom seeds,green chilies,red chilly flakes etc to the spinach and cottage cheese http://filling.It was unique and very http://delicious.My version is uploaded in my blog too.

Coconut mochi balls
Mochi is a sweet Japanese rice cake popular all over the http://world.It is made from the glutinous rice flour "Mochiko".This rice cake can be found in various shapes flavored or stuffed.The texture will be soft and chewy ,with the stuffing filling your mouth with tempting  flavors in each bite.The flavors can be from  fruits like mango,jelly ,chocolate and thousand of other varieties .

A couple of months before I had been to Hongkong where I had a  mango mochi. Simple loved the flavors and http://texture.In India we also have different varieties of rice cakes .In Bengal and Odissa and other parts of North East India  rice cakes are popular  in the form of various "pitha" specially during the rice harvesting  #festival.In Maharashtra ,a state in the Western part of the country ,the steamed rice cakes are also very popular ,like "pathole".,steamed rice cakes wrapped in turmeric leaves and "modak",temple shaped stuffed rice cakes which is considered the favorite food of Lord Ganesha,widely made  during the #GaneshChaturthi.So a fusion of Indian and Chinese forms I prepared during the last Ganpati festival.

2 cup Glutinous rice flour
1 cup Water
1/2 cup Sugar
1 cup Grated coconut
1 cup Sugar
1/2 tsp Vanilla


Preparing the rice cake

Add water and sugar to the rice cake to form a thin batter

Micro the batter for 4 minutes

The batter will form a sticky hot dough

Wet your hand and form small flat balls from it

Preparing the filling

Heat a pan and add coconut and sugar on low flame

You may add little water if you are using dessicated coconut,If using fresh coconut water is not necessary

Stir and stir till the mixture leaves the sides of the pan and all the sugar granules have melted.The mixture should be white,the sugar should not caramelise

Add vanilla and mix

Assembling the mochi

Place a small ball of filling at the centre of the rice cake.Close to form a ball.Roll on corn starch to form a smooth outer texture

Steam it for 5 minutes

Let the balls cool

Serve at room temperature or chilled

Restaurant style PANEER MARATHA 2 in 1 recipe

        Paneer Maratha is very tasty and delicious Indian dish which very delicious my family love this very much I hope you all are like this

Ingredients :

Paneer - 200grm
Onion - 1 big
Tomato - 1 big
Lemon juice -1 lemon
Dried red chillies - 6 to 7
Butter - 50 grm
Oil - 2 tblspn
Water - 1/2 cup
Dahi ( yogurt) - 2 tblspn
Orange food color - 1/2 teaspn
Coriander seed - 1 teaspn
Cumin seed - 1 teaspn
Kalonji - 1 teaspn
Red chilly pwdr - 1 tblspn
Garama masala pwdr - 1 teaspn
Roasted kasuri methi ( dried funegreek leaves)- 1 tblspn
Salt 1/2 tblspn
Coriander leaves - for garnishing

How to make :

In warm water soak dry red chillies for 15 min the remove the seeds . Dry roast the Cumin , coriander and kalonji seed keep aside let it cool down completely. Cut the paneer in medium size.
In pan add oil Fry the onion in it and fry till light brown now add tomato and fry till soft keep aside . now grind the seed masala with lemon juice and dried red chillies add water if required make fine paste.
Marinate paneer with masalas paste and dahi and salt keep aside for 15 min.
Now grind the onion and tomato make fine paste.
Grease the pan with butter and shallow fry the paneer pieces . Fry the pieces from all sides .
Take it in plate garnish with coriander leaves and lemon piece the Paneer Maratha starter is ready
Now in pan add oil and butter heat it now add ginger garlic paste fry till nice aroma is coming. Now add onion and tomato paste
Chilly pwdr, salt and garam masala, fry it 
Then add kasuri methi and water cook it 15
 min switch off the flame. 
Take the gravy in bowl add Paneer pieces on it garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with chapati and rice.
