We are sure that you want to know more about the development progress of In Verbis Virtus, and today we'll talk a bit about level design. We're not just creating many new environments, but also the map that you have already tried in the demo has been heavily modified. The main improvement lies in the fact that we have decided to adopt a less linear design and increase the size of the levels. Both of these choices serve the purpose to increase the complexity and longevity of the game, allowing to add side elements to the gameplay. All this has been made possible by a substantial optimization effort and has also required a total redesign of the save system. But do not worry, it won't take long before you will finally be able to get your hands, or rather your voice, on In Verbis Virtus!

Hi everyone! Lately we have not been very communicative and we received several messages from people asking if In Verbis Virtus was still in development. The answer is "absolutely yes!", we were so focused on the development we did not have time to talk about it. To demonstrate this, here are some screenshots of the final appearance of some caves in the first level of the game, which has undergone a major makeover. More news coming soon...

We received the first Archmage level contribution! The generous backer who made it earned an extra T-shirt and an extra copy of In Verbis Virtus.
There are still 15 days left to contribute to our crowdfunding campaign. And don't forget about the referral contest, the one who brings more contribution sharing our +Indiegogo  campaign link through social networks gets the Immortal perk (worth 1200$)!
So go on spreading the word!

Introduction
Indomitus Games is a group of young Italian artists and programmers who have joined forces to develop an innovative gaming product: In Verbis Virtus.

The project begins with an idea of the student Mattia Ferrari for the course of
Videogame Design and Programming at Politecnico di Milano. Mattia is joined by Federico Mussetola and Damiàn Soriano to form the group that for the duration of the course will be called Initium. For the artwork, graphics and sound the group makes use of some external collaborators: Davide Del Sorbo and Marco Lisci for 3D graphics, Denis Gualtieri for the 2D and Gianmarco Leone for music and sounds. At the end of the course the group submits a demo of the game obtaining a great success.

The result of the collaboration is so good that the boys decided to continue the development of In Verbis Virtus in order to make it a full game as well as an innovative experience, it is at this point that Indomitus Games arises.
