Our latest drone prototype which will be similar to test the lunar lander prototype. This particular drone is based on the Y6 configuration. Where every arm possesses 2 rotor each at each arm, where in the case of the lunar lander it will be one rocket thruster on each arm. As for the landing approach, the drone uses an ultrasonic sensor while the lander uses radar to estimate the distance away from the ground. Stay tuned for its maiden flight in June!

Preliminary 3u cubesat structural analysis. It will house several important components for the Lunar Mission including the Trans Lunar Injection module onboard with possible of an auxiliary propellant tank. As of now a fundamental stress Finite Element Analysis is done at coarse mesh, simply to identify areas of criticality.

Greetings fans and followers of IDX Aerospace! This week we continue our development of the BLIZZARD lunar rover and SQUALL Lunar Lander, doing some touch-ups to our model that would then be run into our simulation.  Other than that, we are also doing some preliminary design work on the Dedicated Nano Launch Vehicle (DNLV), an improved version of the Independence 10 Launch Vehicle. The road is long and challenging, but we're taking it one step at a time ;)

Hellooooo fans and followers of IDX! There's quite a lot of progress we've achieved here in IDX Aerospace, thanks to the Mission Definition Data Package (MDDP) requirement from the X-Prize Foundation (XPF). We've managed to come up with our design of the Lunar Lander, named S.Q.U.A.L.L. So here's the pic for your viewing pleasure ;)
