I'm trying to imagine why anyone older than 10 would want a fixed gear bicycle... maybe it's the engineer in me, but they seem incredibly inefficient for actually getting anywhere. (Perhaps this is why they're associated with hipsters, who also escape my understanding). The only thing I can come up with is that they'd be very easy to maintain and fix, but "hipster" doesn't bring to mind any association with tools, grease, and DIY-ism in my head.

So this was up in Vancouver a couple of years ago (2010?). The regular picture was pretty unimpressive... I'll send it to you once I get back in front of my computer. This is the result of playing around with Lightroom... Nothing too excessive.
