Here's a good refresher on #onlinereviews   and their impact for the auto industry which continues to grasp at straws and resolves to use outside companies rather than manage themselves, which is what you HAVE to do. Statistics are great, however what happens in your business should matter. In other words, everything that happens in your dealership is your responsibility.

In meetings with an OEM just this week, the top feedback still coming from dealers is "how do I bury my bad reviews?". Apparently we're still so far form embracing what happens to every business and we've not empowered our staff or hired the rigth people... +MarketingProfs  #bestpractices

After receiving another webinar invitation for automotive "social media", it occurred to us that businesses are being fed a lot of garbage by vendors and OEMs about how to even gain momentum, let alone be successful, on the different social networks.

Here's a good, simple article from +MarketingProfs with some great tips on implementation and on creating the right content, audience and results.

The more dealerships use the endorsed social media companies, the more they will disappear. #socialmedia   #marketing

In the great article by Larry Kim on +MarketingProfs, what's clearly spelled out is that you, by default, have likely, by vendor or consultant, been paying attention to the wrong data, benchmarks and measurement.

Fact is the OEMs, and who they hire, are not up to date, knowledgeable, or progressive. So, are you willingly holding yourself back or are you simply willing to be part of the crowd?

Get real with your #digital  marketing and contact us, grow your results and blow your competition away!

If this were done at #Automotive  retail, there would be a massive change (read; Increase) in profit, retention and employee satisfaction! The primary reason we don't is resistance and lack of knowledge and effort from the top of each organization. Remove the silos, mandate participation, stop excusing sub-part performance! #data   #marketing   via +eMarketer

Buying clicks? Buying likes? This is THE best representation of what marketers are doing for dealerships that don't want to do it the right way! Is it funny? Yes. Is it disreputable? Yes. And, unfortunately, businesses want a "quick fix" like the guy in the video. Props to +Adobe TV for the video! #DealershipToday   #marketing   #fakeresults

Funny. Disgusting. This is what most #cardealerships  do because of not wanting to do the work and because of how the OEMs work. #marketing

Post #NADA high but you don’t know where to start? You could hire them and be one of many, or hire the misunderstood #DealershipToday   #stopfallingoveragain   #bestpractices

#cardealers  don't have to fail. They have to get smarter, more unique, vested in results and create their own market independent of the #OEM s. Who's willing? #DealershipToday   #bestpractices

Real Time Marketing #RTM  is a huge opportunity for dealerships who maintain their #socialmedia‬  and #CRM‬  properly. Many people talk about #ROI‬  as a product of RTM, this +eMarketer article puts some execution stats behind the static from "experts".

Interesting timing on this post for #Automotive  industry folks. #Cardealers  do you know what you're spending on? And where the funds are going? #SEM   #social   #signals   #search

Franchisees are spending big money on online ads. But this data suggests a big percentage of them are not all that active with social media.
In response to the digital preferences of today's consumers, small-to-medium sized franchises are allocating more of their ad budgets toward digital media.

Some of the simplest ideas to facilitate any and all marketing. Every organization should follow this. With exception to organizations that don't market to an audience at all, which is none.   +MarketingProfs  #marketing   #collaboration

If your website provider, marketing company or consultant has been telling you #SEO‬  is dead, stop them in their tracks. The only thing that should be dead is your contract with them. Facts and data trump feelings.
Based on this article from +MarketingProfs , hopefully you (re)think your SEO strategy, have REAL conversations with your vendors and don't dismiss PROVEN methods to drive results. #DealershipToday‬   #marketing   #hearsay
